Just watched the complete playthrough of the Dragon-something Level, and, as I suspected, the're will be more than one Zone of the same vehicle type. Also, now I see that the vehicle zones can be much more than simple zones with start and end. When the first Sea Zone is complete, the water is drained, and it creates another Sea Zone. Looks interesting.

Yeah,but only one vehicle star mission; the rewards for the second Sea zone are just acess to collectibles.

Actually, IG doesn't go all the way to the end, he stops probably like, half way through from what I can tell. This Spin-Off character is most likely just a normal enemy, not a boss.

Whoops, I misjudged where I saw the name. It shows up for a second while he scrolls,close to the end but not really, which isn't MUCH of a spoiler but the fact it's a skystone says a lot.

Has anyone noticed that the hats seem to be based off of the vehicles. I actually like this idea... a lot.

They said the hats ARE Based off the vehicles. I love the Splatter Splasher hat! Lol!

... You know, I would complain about hats being based off vehicles since I think they already have enough focus in the game and really don't need to be forced inside each little thing at the cost of making it plain ridiculous... But it's not like I use hats that often.

So... Yeah, whatever.
Hope there will be "regular" looking hats too.

Tim Curry voicing the Darkness is not a good idea anyway.

I don't think they'd call mainstream actors looking at the pattern. Sure, George Takei could be kinda considered that,but it's still mostly one big role and many smaller ones.

I can dream of it being Liam O'Brien doing his usual evil flamboyant but he's more of a VA and doesn't fit the pattern :C So Johnny Yong Bosch because Power Rangers totally counts.

We know that Ol' Darky is being voiced by someone famous though, so who could it be?

Well,we could look for similar roles on the previous guys. CCH Pounder and Baranski have been in waaaaay too many guest roles to not find at least one where George Takei also showed up on. Batman Beyond and Law and Order have some overlap--- but that's WAAAYY too many guest roles.

Honestly, the only other VA I could see playing The Darkness is Mark Hamill. Might be nice for him to play an actual good villain in a Spyro game.

Mark Hamill would just be overkill. I mean, has anyone heard his villain roles OTHER than Malefor? (Darksiders spoilers)Chilling,and absolutely amazing, and that's not counting the Joker appearances.
But he also could still be around for Malefor, slap an echo filter that actually makes him understandable and done.

I thought it was known since the Treehouse interview that it's getting a personality. And as much as a silent villain would be hilarious, I don't think that's the point of getting a personality.

Well, I was thinking about a talking villain too... However...

Bad guys such as Pitch from Rise of the Guardians or Aku from Samurai Jack don't always have to talk to look menacing or simply have a strong personality.
It's all in their actions, expressions and body movements.

Just think about Wall-E.
I know he's not a bad guy but he's still a character which was able to carry on an entire movie without basically speaking.
Yet he's still an incredibly complex and interesting protagonist which really doesn't even need to talk.

I would be surprised to see a similar character in a series like Skylanders but they really seem to be trying to push the Story limits this time, so you never know.

Wall-E still has a voice,so to say, and Pitch and Aku(ESPECIALLY the latter) have the hammiest voices. And we've seen some actors do roles where they barely talk(iirc in Smurfs they didn't even have a single line sometimes,just the face edited into a smurf, but we don't talk about that movie), so even that would count.

I can guarantee with HUGE sadness that we will not get Aku's VA. Rest is peace, Mako. ;-;


I cant think of anyone either. All we know is that it's a BIG name actor (I think this had been said) if not the biggest name in the series yet.

I'm gonna guess and say that we'll probably learn in the cinematic trailer. Just a hunch.

Dude, i've seen ominous black clouds be a villain with a VA before (but i don't remember where), even if he doesn't have a physical form, he could still have a VA...

It's probably just a dev kit console, no big deal. Good to know the contents of that spoiler weren't that big,though this time I avoided the quest window's text.

Also oh, man, just before launch day we're also going to get Persona 5 news. I think the hype is already getting over my head because I'm having dreams of opening DS to complaints about how they screwed up on the story again(after having bought the game for extra dread). That trailer can't come out sooner.

oh cool, persona 5! My bro's gonna be happy! Shin Megami Tensei 4evar! Expectations were made to be crushed... I hope people's dreams don't get shattered TOO much, but since they insist to call it the "ultimate" skylanders instead of the "best thus far", i feel people will be CRUSHED...

What can I say... I had close to 0 expectations when the first SuperChargers trailer came out.
Vehicles... Meh.

But then I saw the game and thought "wow, it actually looks cool!".
And then I saw all the mistakes, nonsensical stuffs and over-the-top things and thought... "ok... Eh".
And then I saw all the great stuffs and thought "Good Eon, release it faster!".

As of now it indeed topped SWAP Force (the only way it would be worse is if characters were somehow unplayable and I don't see it happening), no doubt but I still cannot say if it will be my favorite Skylanders game so far.
It could be and the apparently great settings and Story hint to that but... It's still too soon.

Definitely skeptical about many other things but the hype is indeed strong.
