I mean... The entire Light Element isn't even available as of now!

Dang, I REALLY prefer Legendary Sun Runner over the original, but I REALLY prefer the original Astroblast over the Legendary...

I can't decide which version of the pack I want...


Then again, I don't particularly like EITHER version of Astroblast... And will probably use it just to unlock the mods for my Spyro's use...

Zoology time! Splat has only one 'toe' on each foot, which makes her an odd-toed ungulate. But her nose and horns are a much closer match to the even-toed subfamily Caprinae, which include goats and sheep.

Fauns, which were what I thought of when I first saw Splat, have goat legs which have two toes on each foot.

So Splat could very well be a Faun with horse legs. How strange!

Of course, there's no reason why the biology of Skylands has to have any relevance to our own, I just find it interesting to compare : )

And unlike TT, we can't just get any page's source code and find the hidden characters, they have separate ones now. But they really think we'll fall for the lone Soda Skimmer as "oh there's no Magic supercharger"? Not even impressionable kids can believe that.

They're pretty similar! According to Wikipedia Fauns are more consistently goat-legged bipeds. With Satyrs the Greeks often depicted them with human legs, while Romans went with the goat-legged version we're more familiar with today. Though now I've read further it seems like the Romans often depicted Satyrs with larger, ram-like horns than Fauns, so Splat's probably closer to a Roman Satyr!

I'm no expert though, I'm a zoologist not a cryptozoologist : )

Any chance we can find videos of the characters? I really care more for what they do right now. (I highly doubt it but it doesn't hurt to ask.)

Well... Cryptids are often really mysterious or yet unidentified animals.
Say you didn't knew the lion and called it a "moster".
They are scientist which like to look at the unknown and try to uncover it.

But to me Splat it's definitely either equine or ovine (specifically caprine).

I don't know, those ears seem bovine in origin, and her legs are far too shaggy to be entirely equine AFAIK...

OMG! The website isn't FULLY updated which is kinda dumb. Did anyone hear Nightfall's, Fiesta's and Dive-Clop's Voice? Fiesta's does not fit him in my opinion but Nightfall's does and Not sure about Dive-Clops.

I agree... I just LOVE the shade of the spikes on the Legendary... Makes it look so AWESOME... But I GREATLY prefer the original astroblast to the legendary one... I can't decide which version of the Sky pack I want...

Cows and sheep actually have very similar ears - they're just obscured by wool often on by sheep. As for shaggy horses... but it doesn't really matter! Splat's definitely ungulate inspired, but she's probably a blend of whatever features worked in her design as opposed to purely drawn from a single species. I just like analysing potential inspirations : )

(I probably should have said she had horse hooves, not horse legs in my previous post. Her fur actually reminds me of highland cattle or clydesdales)

So Shield Striker turns into an actual car. That's... Actually surprising.

Also, I think we have a glimpse of possible appearance changing upgrades for Nightfall. In some footage, she has tendril-like hair and purple frills, but in others gold frills and hair that seems much more compact and watery, kinda like Eris from thwt Dreamworks sinbad movie(and here's another character I really like put into her concept).

It got a bublebee's stinger and different wing patterns not unlike a wasp. You can see that more clearly in the Overview trailer.

Not sure how I feel about the gold frills but I can live with them.

Tomb Buggy and Sun Runner Supercharged are my favorite Supercharged thingy's right now. I really wanna see Thump Truck and Gold Rusher (Well my friend does)

They change throught the videos, I think it's upgrades. The hair particles don't feel different, just seem to have different purposes (tentrils for attacks,waves for mobility). But I'll say I prefer the gold frills and wave hair, and being from the screenshots it might be the upgraded version(like Krypt King who usually had his final sword in screenshots but regular in videos).

Supercharged Tomb Buggy... Eh, I didn't miss the pink and black bones, but the design is nice.

WOAH THIS IS AMAZING!!!! Wow Trig's Vehicle looks AMAZING! I LOVE THE GOLDRUSHER!

I'll just quickly give my opinions on the supercharged combos.

Sun Runner: Wow, I love how it looks like a Traptanium spaceship

Shield Striker: At first I was slightly dissapointed, but this made up my mind.

Buzz Wing: At first I had a hard time choosing between Stealth Stinger and Buzz Wing, but now I'm going to skip this vehicle with pleasure

Tomb Buggy: By far the best supercharged vehicle, even though now it looks more like Series 1 Roller Brawl.

Splatter Splasher. This one's also very nice, but I expected a bit more... don't get me wrong, I still love the vehicle and I'm sure it will have amazing mods.

Got a comment deleted because it was supposedly advertising, so everyone who's posting links to YouTube videos that aren't Skylanders Game videoes are classified as advertising as well are they?

We have every character here, including the Alter Egos and Vehicles. We don't need a video that reinstates the same thing that can be browsed at almost any time on the forum.
