I'd say nice double-spread page... But that's the most obvious example copy and paste in this series. Sure, the candy warriors look similar, but all coincidentally have the same shading in a battlefield? I don't think so.

I noticed that David Rodriguez lets us know on his Twitter when the Skylanders comic preview pages are posted on sites that posts them.

Huh, better than relying on the IDW facebook or Comic Book Resources, then, because it's pretty late and they don't have it at all.

This issue looks like it's going to be good.

I just read it was good well i expected more...but it was still good.

I saw the summary on the wiki; so the lore we can get for Light and Dark is that mixing it creates life,or at least golem animating powers?

That's... Kinda overpowered?

Oh man, that would've been a nice Book of Elements-y theme actually. It's a legit question since they obviously can't be all on duty all the time - we saw glimpses of them screwing around in the Citadel in Onk Beakman's books but they were events in itself(and this book being so short probably will as well).

Oh my god, this is something I wanted to see forever. I personally figured most days in Skylands are quite peaceful, with one of the villains running a muck every so often.

Ah, I found it. I'm guessing the story is part of Rift into Overdrive, much like the Kaos Trap had Issue#0-3.

Cavan Scott/Onk Beakman is back on the game! A few days late but he mentioned in a blog post that he's back writing comics and small stories for the series,starting out with the Skylanders Magazine's latest issue minicomic.

Here's hoping that means more books, they're amazing. Can't say the same about the Skylanders Magazine,being UK only I couldn't hope to get a few issues for some small lore. Only two issues are even avaliable on Ebay and a bit too expensive for a small magazine.

That's an Awesome Cover. I wonder the Regular Cover will look like.

The cover looks good but I'm not a fan of that art style (too simple and "bland") at least not for this comic series.

Happy it's just a variant.

Fico Ossio does the normal covers of the Skylanders comics.

And that's why I prefer normal covers.
They are just gorgeous.

And here's something that I found while looking for the Issue 11 Variant Cover(because it's a mirror of the 10 one with Blackout and Knight Mare and I just had the feeling I actually didn't see it before) - Issue 12 variant cover! It was on GoCollect.

Most of the variant covers don't actually have anything to do with the comic,but this one is pretty funny. Enigma is the life of the party.

It's a little messy because you have to open one tab per page,but here it is. We'll probably get more organization when Comic Book Resources gets a hold of it.

The band members for the graduation (ironically called The Evil Imposters) turned out to be some of the Doom Raiders (Golden Queen, Dr Krankcase, Wolfgang, and the Gulper) in disguise and they successful turned all the present Skylanders and adults into gold statues. They plan on ambushing the other Skylanders by turning them to statues as well. The Minis were the only ones that weren't caught, and thanks to Pet-Vac's leadership and confidence, the Minis were able to defeat the Doom Raiders and graduate as full-fledged Skylanders.

Hmm...Awesome.

Does anyone have a list of the Onk Beakman novels? I have Stump Smash Crosses The Bone Dragon, Cynder Confronts The Weather Wizard, Terrafin Battles The Boom Brothers, Lightning Rod Faces The Cyclops Queen, Gill Grunt and The Curse of The Fish Master, Spyro Versus The Mega Monsters and The Machine of Doom. I know there's also one with Trigger Happy, but I was wondering if there are any others. Also, is he still writing more?

Cavan Scott's still doing the yearly Skylander Annuals and a few Activity books.

No more Mask of Power or anything from Onk then? That sucks, they (and Machine of Doom) were the only supplimentary writings I liked. :( Thanks anyway.

No more novels from him so far. Who knows when he'll write Skylander novels again. You can ask him on his website though if he is working on some.

Btw, Onk Beakman is Cavan Scott's Skylander alias.

Oh, didn't know that. I'm still not really interested in the activity stuff or annuals though (I had an annual, and it was fine, but not worth searching for). I hope he is making more, but since they haven't been mentioned in a while, it seems like the comics replaced them. :/

He's been doing short comics for them and from his last post about it he just got back to doing stuff for the series. Could mean that he'll do more, maybe even guest comics for the IDW ones.

I didn't noticed something until now.
