Sometimes I try to feel sympathetic towards him. How he had a rough time and probably still does have one. How at times he wasn't at all a bad person to talk to and could hold a decent conversation. Take away the ****ty 4chan attitude and he wouldn't have been half bad.

But then I remember what he did to some users on and off site, and how people would come to me bothered and anxious about him. Then I don't feel bad anymore.

This drives it home. It wasn't just that he was a ****poster who liked to take his frustrations out on the site and its users. It's also how he wouldn't bother to change even when people called him out on it or begged for it. He would make threads talking about how lonely he was and wondering why people didn't like to be his friend but while he seemed to partly acknowledge what the problem was, he did a poor attempt at fixing it and liked to think that we're the same kind of anons you see on 4chan when we clearly aren't at this point.

I'm glad he's gone to be honest. The toxicity level was enough to fill a huge acid vat and burn right through it.

Its easy to tell zer0dch felt lonely, insecure, and aware of his wrong-doings; but his failure to act and improve his attitude every time made it very difficult to feel sorry for him.

Zero if you really are reading this, I don't necessarily think hope is lost on you. I know somewhere in there is a decent person, and I trust that you aren't this awful to people in real life (once again this behavior being a side effect of being on 4chan too long). You said you were seeking help and I do hope you find it or that it's already making you better. I may not really be able to forgive you for certain actions you've done, but I don't necessarily hate you.

I also just hope that you don't go treating users on other forums like this. Not everyone is a bunch of random anons on 4chan that all come together with the explicit intent of ****posting without remorse.

I was someone that became notable for having clashes with him.

He deserved the ban, but I don't think he was all bad. I mean, I argued with him many times, but that's because he was capable OF arguing. And by that, I mean I only really argue or debate with people if they seem like they have the solidarity and the intelligence to do so. I do think he was smart, but he let his 4chan personality get in the way of that, and often devolved into throwing insults at me. Even at times where I AGREED with the general point he was making, but he would still have an attitude with me. For example, he went around parading about how Splatoon was being launched in a state that made it a rip-off, and I actually completely agreed with him on that, but I criticised how he was parading this around everywhere and bringing it up where it wasn't relevant - instead of just leaving it there, he would try to argue with me over that or just start insulting me.

He was also a very passionate individual, but I feel the passion he had for things more often manifested in negative ways than positive ways. The most obvious example being his passion for From Software's games. While he did make what I believe to arguably be the best All-Purpose topic dedicated to a franchise in the Video Gaming section, most of us don't really remember that because his passion for those games often manifested in some degree of ****posting, like comparing completely incomparable games to them (i.e. games of a completely different genre), or acting as if a game had to have at least the same Metacritic score as a From Software game to be considered good. And in general, his opinions on things often lined up with a generic 4chan **** poster, not to mention how he expressed them.

I was also informed of some pretty despicable things he did, and he came to cause one of my best friends a lot of trouble both on and off site, and that completely soured my opinion of him, and pretty much drove my last post towards him (where I basically said I have no real respect left for him and that I don't think he's worth arguing with or humouring anymore).

I don't miss him as he mostly was a pain. But if he changed his ways, I could accept him.
