If I'm not mistaken, Donald Duck was revealed at Gamescom last year. Do you guys have any thoughts as to who could be revealed this year? Im going with Ant Man because of the recent tease. Or maybe Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch/Vision? (I think its pretty obvious we're getting those guys) Either way, I just really want to know about that Marvel Play Set that they've said is coming

So, Disney announced that will be revealing 3 new Infinity characters at D23 Expo. I create this topic for the discussion of what characters do you think that will be announced.
I personally think that, obviously, it will be Disney Originals. I think that it will be:

• Darkwing Duck (he's way too popular to not become playable)
  
• Mabel (same as Darkwing)
  

These are the characters that I think that will be revealed. I personally wish that WALL-e becomes playable. He maybe have a chance (he's in the #OurDisneyInfinity poll as one of the 20 most popular characters in Disney Blog), but I don't think he's in the game.

Yes, but I think that it's good to have a separate one for this, so the Infinity topic will not fill with predictions.

I'm betting it'll be one Star Wars characters (GRIEVOUS!!!), one Marvel character (most likely Ant-Man), and one Disney Original (could be anyone).

I've been hoping for General Grievous since it was announced, and I think he makes sense to be included because he plays an important part in Clone Wars AFAIK.

I think they'll announce a character for each "type" (Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars). I think they'll probably be:

Grievous
Ant Man
IDK, but probably not any of the ones on the poll.

I think it will be dipper mabel and darkwing duck

If it is, then why were they on the poll? There wouldn't be any point, they would be added anyway.

Give me Bing Bong and I'll buy the game, getting the IO figures regardless whether or not I buy the game.

I don't expect any Poll characters, it seems a bit too soon for that.

I hope it is Darkwing Duck but also hope it isn't. I don't need to buy the game.

This. I think the characters are either going to be Grievous or Count Dooku, Ant Man, and Emperor Zurg (one for each playset type, Star Wars/Disney/Marvel), or Grievous or Count Dooku, Darth Sideous, and a villain from Rebels (similar to the reveal last year). Maybe even both Grievous and Dooku.

AFAIK, Darth Maul wasn't as important as Grievous and Dooku, so I'm surprised they had him instead of Grievous/Dooku.

GameStop started the pre-orders for good part of the figures, including some from later waves. We have some new images of the packaging of some figures. Check it out:

NOTE: Amazon put in Pre-Order an exclusive Inside Out Bundle, with the Play Set plus all figures (including the Amazon-exclusive Fear figure).

Although I'm dissapointed that Darth Maul is wave 3 (was hoping to buy him at launch), I'm happy that Hulkbuster is getting a single pack.

Hopefully Grievous will be revealed as a Wave 1 character, I want to play as him Day 1. I doubt it though, I'll probably use Anger and/or Baymax instead until Darth Maul/Grievous come out.

Anyway, i'll have this game the day after it comes out. Going to D23 friday, will take pics. won't see the reveals though.

also, johnny v has said to "not assume the poll characters are the ones being announced on sunday"

I have made a post on Facebook using #OurDisneyInfinity and made a list.

Characters that would be cool:
- Sergeant Calhoun
- Dr Doofenshmirtz
- Honey Lemon
- Dipper

Characters that would be way cooler:
- Mabel
- WALL-E
- Princess Star Butterfly

As for Darkwing Duck, I have no idea who he is. Him and Mabel seem to be fighting hard even on Facebook.

I found this on /r/Disney_Infinity. Apparently it was in a commercial when a kid said "I fought General Grievous!"

However, I've seen Barbossa and Davy Jones (with their 1.0 design) as bosses, too. So Grievous might be playable. I hope so.

AFAIK, it isn't a list of deconfirmed characters. It could be a list of sidekicks, characters who were considered for 3.0 a while back (who could be confirmed), etc..

EDIT: I looked on Instagram to find where the posted. This is what they said alongside the picture:

So one of those characters is probably going to be revealed on Sunday. I'm hoping for Grievous, obviously.

Even if it wasn't a list of potential characters, it's still nice to see which characters are in the developers minds when it comes to Infinity.

From that list, I'm hoping for Figment, Dipper, Mabel, and Chernabog.

I'm scared for Darkwing Duck tho.....

I'm surprised Grievous hasn't been confirmed already. IIRC, he was much more important than Darth Maul.

I think it will be dipper or at least hope so grevious would be epivc aswell

So i went to D23. the line to get a free figure was 2 1/2 hours long. they had Sam Flynn, Disgust, Sadness, Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and Yoda. Olaf was a pre-order bonus. I left before i managed to get a free figure.

My predictions for today are dipper,mabel,darkwing,and a classic charcter hope for wolverine and grevious though

If he doesn't get confirmed then I'll pention for him on /r/Disney_Infinity. He NEEDS to be in.

he must get in!

There is no reason for him to not be in, but many reasons why he should be in.

I think that if he was in, he would have the most advanced fighting style out of all non-Force-Sensitive characters (Grievous can't use the force). His ranged attack would either be his blaster or using his Lightsaber as a boomerang (like Vader)

Fun Fact: Each of Grievous' Lightsabers were taken from the Jedi he killed, and he can effectively use up to 6 Lightsabers at once.

I am expecting:

• The new characters (someone at Disney hinted that will not be 3, it can be more or less)
  
• Information about the Marvel Play Set
  
• Information about the Force Awakens Play Set (this is already confirmed to appear)
  

Remember that the people from Infinity say that not all of the characters will be revealed before launch.

I really just want information on the Marvel Play Set as so far that's the only thing I want from this game. Im literally having my cousin buy the starter pack and Im buying all the Marvel stuff because Im not the biggest Star Wars fan
