I was just going over the skylanders twitter page and I found a tweet that says and I quote. Bowser is revvin’ up! Speed through 15 epic new tracks with the 3DS #Skylanders SuperChargers Racing Starter Pack!
15 Race tracks on the 3ds version ! Just a small bit of info for you.

Epic new tracks means it'll be totally different than the rest. It's as expected but for some reason this year I thought it'll mimic the Wii version a lot better than in prior years.

I've always considered the 3DS version like getting a spinoff mini game to the real thing. I wonder if we'll see any shots of the gameplay sooner than a week before release? They usually don't like to show their "lessor" cousin off and often devote as little as possible to the 3DS promotions.

Any bets on what the trophies will do in this game? Well they unlock anything or perhaps do nothing spectacular at all? And they are still packing in last year's portal with them too? They could have changed the color of it at least. That's a bit lazy on their part.

In the 3ds I think unlock new tracks or something ?

My guess is they'd unlock tracks just like in the console versions, but maybe a little more than two tracks per trophy. Even if it was a case of three extra tracks with each trophy, that's nine extra tracks total, giving the game a grand total of 24 tracks to race! smilie

That's a good idea maybe in the 3ds there is not just a race mode but like a battle mode ?

I'm hoping that there'd be a variety of different game modes, as an added incentive to pick it up in addition to the main console version.

Maybe a skylander can pick up certain rewards in the 3ds/wii version and transfer them to the console game to unlock certain things ?

Thats True they could but then it would be hate for having to buy multiple games for the content that is in the game

Glad heroic challenges are gone. Imagine doing 165 per skylander. That's 27225 challenges. No thank you.
