So I am just make this a final goodbye. I might come back and post on occasion, but I really doubt that. So here we go:
I first came to darkspyro in 2011 for Skylanders, but then eventually branched out into other parts of the forum like S&N, and the Video Games Section. When I first came to the site, I was naive and ignorant. I believed most information and most of the time wasn't sure what other things were that people mentioned. After a year on the form, I took a short hiatus because of the claimed hack attack by EmperorKaos. I eventually returned and became a regular member. In 2014 I slowly begun to become inactive. I would post from time to time, but they were either separate by weeks or months. This happened because, well, I got bored. Nothing was really different. Despite my departure from the sight, I can honestly say that this forum, ironically, taught me to learn about the real world and mature. I learned to become more skeptical, to have a voice, to have my own opinions, to take criticism, to constructively criticize, to love, to hate, and to just be me. Granted, I slipped up sometimes, and I apologize for it. There were other events in my life that prepared me for the real world, but this was definitely the first step through the door. I honestly believe that I would not be the same person I am today had it not been for this site. Whether it be Brightscales's love for Shrek, Gooby and duck, rumors of ES's return, summer drama, debates, Kurui and EmperorKaos, derailed topics, trends, or randomness, I can say that it has been fun.
I also feel the need to thank a few people:
CAV, Spyrobaro, Aura, dragonCamo, Seiki, HIR, and spyroandsonic: although not all of us had personal conversation, I can honestly say you guys helped me through this maturation. You all seemed to stay true to yourselves throughout my whole time here, and I truly found it inspirational. Despite being mostly strangers, I learned most of things I listed from seeing you interact within he forum, and for that I thank you. I don't think I would have had the same revelation and journey if it weren't for you guys, so thank you once more.
Morris: you have been phenomenal, although I only knew you a shirt while, you were truly amazing. You had no fear voicing your own opinions and I respect you so much. I learned so much from you about being independent fro others and forming my own judgement. I can't thank you enjoy for your friendship. May life treat you well.
Wanderist: You have been my best friend on this site, and like I have told you before, I never thought internet friendships were real until I met you. Thank you for your support and love. You have been my rock throughout my time here and I cannot thank you enough. Whenever I felt down you were there for me. Whenever I needed help, you were here for me. Whenever I just needed someone to talk to, you were there for me. You were, no, you are most influential role model. I learned to be me by conversing with you. I hope to stay in contact with you my friend. Thank you for everything my friend and may the world be kind to you.
If I forgot anybody, thank you for all your help as well. Thank you DS for everything, it has been real. Goodbye and thanks so much.
