I honestly don't mind equips when it's a good, fair, +10 in every stat. But then there are people who have like +50 attack and each hit does 60 damage and it's just not fun anymore.

That was the old me. It varies from character but it's mostly a small (Maybe +10 power) and then a big speed boost.

I just go crazy with equipment, since I made most of mine for the sake of single player challenges or Smash Run.

Has anyone ever faced someone who uses Olimar? I've used him a few times online (and I usually fight people who are inexperienced against him, so I win more often than not) but I've never seen anyone else use him online.

Who has the worst final smash? I think Bowser's final smash is terrible. It turns him into Giga Bowser, and it just makes him bigger, easier to hit, and even HARDER to hit with. The slight weight and power boost aren't that great, and it only lasts for ten seconds.

Giga Mac is about as bad as Giga Bowser, but at least you can hit with it.

PK Starstorm sucks this time around, they turned one of the best Final Smashes in Brawl and turned it into a slightly better version of one of the worst Final Smashes in Brawl. (Lucario)

Shinko Hadoken is pretty bad, but Ryu's other Final Smash makes up for it.

Giga mac sucks compared to Giga Bowser. Just down tilt, smash, and special with bowser and you take up most of the stage.

As for worst Final, only one that comes to mind is DK. He just sits there and plays the bongos. Played a game with him as a lv7 earlier and he just sat there while we all stood on the opposite side of the arena from him. Don't think anything happened to us and not too sure what was supposed to happen.

"Rosalina's is pitiful"

It is literally the single strongest attack in the entire game, and that's including bosses/Smash Run enemies/etc. If you throw people into the Power Star at the very beginning, it does 300%. The knockback on the explosion is also extremely high.

It takes practice, sure, but that doesn't make it bad. A move that powerful ought to be hard to use. And it pretty much goes in line with Rosalina's general theme of "really powerful but really hard to use and requires genuine practice".

The other thing people seem to forget about it is that YOU STILL HAVE FULL CONTROL OF ROSALINA & LUMA AFTER THE INITIAL ANIMATION OF HER PLACING THE STAR IS FINISHED. I see so many Rosalina players use this Final Smash and just STAND there.

Rosalina is tough enough to deal with without that thing in the way, the Power Star just gives her complete stage control. Placing it over a ledge when someone is trying to recover is also a guaranteed KO.



I don't think it's the best in the entire game, but it's definitely in the top half, nowhere near bottom 3 for sure.

It's the single strongest attack in the game in terms of damage and has a lot of knockback, but it sacrifices ease of use, and it can be hard to use on larger stages, and requires you to keep making sure your opponents are still stuck in the star. On larger stages especially, people have the ability to just run away and take cover somewhere, so you really have to trap them. And quite frankly, 300% damage is pretty much overkill, it doesn't need to do that much damage to get a KO (it's still really cool though, and it makes sense that Rosalina has the most powerful move in the game, since she would be the most powerful character in the game canonically).

Other Final Smashes are a bit better since you can catch people easier. Luigi's Final Smash is very good, it has a lot of range and can KO from 40%. I'd say that's better than Rosalina's, especially if everyone is already above 40% when you get the Smash Ball.

On smaller stages and scrolling stages, Rosalina's is probably one of the best in the game (the star moves along with the camera on scrolling stages), but on a stage like Palutena's Temple, while it isn't pitiful or useless, it requires more effort to use.

peach's is pretty bad but still has it uses as long as every is standing on the ground. i wouldnt say its the worst but its down there since its only useful if you're at high percents and/or others are at high percents before the final smash is used

I publicly challenge CAV to a 3 out of five match. It will be tournament rules with Dave's Stupid Rule for counter picking and the loser gets an avatar that declares that they have been beaten by the winner and a one day gnorc. Reply if you accept or be declared a loser.

Has anyone ever killed an opponent while both you and the opponent were off screen? I was playing a match the other day. I was playing as Falco and my opponents were Little Mac, Ryu and Rosalina and Luma. Everyone got caught in Little Mac's attack and were launched upward. Both Falco and Rosalina were launched off screen but survived. ...Or at least Rosalina would have had Falco not kicked her up and sent her spiraling into the background while she makes that hilarious scream of hers.

I also publicly challenge CAV to a battle as well. Fox only, no items, final destination. Winner gets bragging rights until they die.

Yes. Happened earlier today actually. I was below the stage trying to recover as Rosalina while my friend (playing Kirby) jumped down and tried to suicide and take me with him. We both fell off-screen while trying to fight/recover yet he was slightly lower and died a split second faster giving me the win.

What's everyone's thoughts on Ike? I think people don't give Ike a chance. His back air is really fast and powerful, and custom Ike is really scary if you know what you're doing.
