The Racing version actually looks pretty cool.

I would hope the Wii version has completely different tracks (aside from the ones unlocked by Trophies) and a lot more of them as well.

Am I the only person who gets the joke? "Look" as in, his eye, and below, as in deep sea, since he's a diver. Also, "Look out below" is a common thing people say when they do cannonballs or dives. Water jokes, y'see.

Magic Items have been relegated the (Surprisingly more useful) racing items. And said extra content is two new tracks for the racing mode, and 4 new playable villains for it as well, along with a standard Mario Kart cup race and boss fights against said playable villains. And don't forget it also comes with a Skylander AND their vehicle. The price is only slightly higher than what it would cost normally anyway.

Just checked myskylanders.de and it looks like they got some awesome photos of the packaging (figures & vehicles), a clearer pic of High Volt and Smash Hit, among others.

Also check Skylander Boy and Girl's channel. They have videos of racing and character challenges. The racing can go up to 8 players.
Stealth Elf's challenge is to go around a race track (I guess 3 laps) and shoot as many bees and Queen bees before the race ends.

Even though I really dont like that $35 price point (For me, 30 should have been the max price for the new packs) I do appreciate that it comes with so much content. Im guessing since those are $35 and the Combo Packs are most likely $20, that the Triple Packs would be $25

Hi Raymond! Racing Mode is available right out of the box in the Skylanders SuperChargers Starter Pack. Skylanders SuperChargers Racing is a complementary dedicated racing combat game for the Wii and 3DS!

So it sounds like you'll be riding in the vehicles and using them to attack and drive, much like the vehicle zones in the console games. It makes sense too, since usually the 3DS games are different but still full adventures. And the two systems (Wii/3DS) probably wouldn't be able to load such big levels if there were on foot and vehicle sections

Now I'm even more curious about the Wii/3DS version than I was before. I wish they would just show us the dang thing already!

I just admit I am very impressed with this new experience VV has brought us. It looks like theirs more content and challenges than ever before!

The wii version is completely different to the game we've seen so far. It doesn't have the same racetracks! There are no cards in the boxes and no codes on the stickers. There is no final starter pack at gamescom, just some dummies. And they put some tape on the retail standees, so I can't make better pictures of alle figures and vehicles that are in the game as I won't pull it off.

Btw, I tried the Event Hot Streak and the E3 build on the show flow recognizes it as the golden hot streak. Could stil be changed though, as I said it's just the E3 build!

Is there even much, if any, graphical difference between Wii U version and PS4/XBO? If so, I can't notice it so far.

I'd guess Count Moneybone too since they shown him when they were talking about "Boss Tracks".

I don't know if I can consider Racing Action Packs to be "pay more for less" content.
A new character, his/her vehicles and a couple new tracks with different modes to play including a boss battle which also unlock certain playable villains.

That being said I only intend to buy the Sky Racing Action Pack as of now since I don't want Deep Dive Gill Grunt (should have gone with Dive-Clops and Dive Bomber instead).
Will most likely buy the Sea Trophy on eBay, same for the Kaos one.

Surely there has to be a full poster reveal soon

Ok, I've been offline for A while and it seems like I've missed a lot. I'm just quickly going to tell my opinion on the news. Smash Hit looks far differently than I expected, but not necessarily in a bad way. Hex was by far the highlight of the video, I guess if she's able to drive she has to show it to everyone. High Volt looks different but also not in a bad way. I absolutely love the packaging, especially Sea Shadow's. The supercharged Buzz Wing looks kinda blank compared to the toy. The sky trophy looks... weird, at least Wolfgang. And finally after so many years (2 to be precise) Mesmeralda's coming back, I can't wait to play as her.

$19.99 for adventure pack from SSA to $34.99 for essentially the same type of unlocked content. No way. No how. The only thing that remotely makes this think it's worth it is the inclusion of online which could extend the perceived value. At some point folks need to look closer at the price. Every time I'm looking around prices are being bumped.

£34.99 for what's essentially an adventure pack? It's a bit much. If you think about it, the target audience is 7-12. What kind of child that young can get that much money in one go? They would have to ask for it for Christmas but if they don't get it then, they have to spend a lot of time saving up (most kids aren't that patient) or wait until their birthday (if their birthday is in August or September the next game will almost be out).

Even if you're not in the target audience (I was for the 3 games, not anymore though), it's a large amount of money to pay. They need to be more logical.

Simple solution. Wait for Black Friday or when the next game is confirmed the prices dropped. I found a $10 Scorpion Striker and a $4 LC Countdown on STT launch. If your want it right away then GameStop's used Skylanders or Amazon.

Wii has different tracks? You do see a screenshot with a lava area that I've never seen before in the 3DS version, just hope they don't use it as an excuse to make them less interesting.

No codes on stickers is weird since E3 Hot Streak had them, so I'm guessing cards or not, Acti hid anything that could reveal something they don't want to.

Myskylanders looked at the packages as seen a few posts above. But if the E3 Hot Streak had at least stickers with codes, it mean they must've taken the contents out of the box to show just the toy.
