No! How many times do I have to tell you!? I'm a car, I feel it in my soul!
Just kidding... maybe. ;P
Anyways, seems as if history is repeating itself, it's like the wolfaboos of 2007 and 2008 have returned, but not on deviantART. Psychologically and biologically, it does explain reasons for this phenomenon occuring, but nevertheless it still weird when you see how obsessed and adamant others become when they truly think they're another species. In the end, it's still their own choice. Which I'm fine with as long as I'm not forced into believing you are who you apparently claim to be.

Tbh I wasn't fully aware that it was a legit belief, so thank you for clarifying that. That being said, I don't have a huge problem with it if they actually think they're connected to that certain animal through reincarnation. I don't believe in reincarnation myself but if that's their belief then fine.
My concern is the people who think they're legitimately a (animal name here) trapped in a human's body when it's not even connected to reincarnation, or those who think they're really fantasy creatures or fictional characters or something.. and I'm sure there are those who think like that. It's almost like extreme roleplay that is being taken too seriously. I mean it's one thing to pretend, but some people take it too far. I don't really know much about the subject, but to me it sounds like a cry for attention or like others have said an identity crisis, and if that's the case then they should probably seek some sort of help. |

I agree with Baro. While I am not an "Otherkin", I find it obnoxious how people are always so ready to attack and destroy anything that they don't agree with. It's stupid, at least in my eyes, and heavily immature. Like seriously.

True true. Huh, I didn't think about it like that. That's a good point. And yes, agreed. |

I don't care what people believe. You can think you are a toaster for all I care. But when you want me to call you a toaster, and shove it down my throat, I lose respect for you. Same thing with religion. You can worship lord of potatoes, but once you want to convert me to worship the lord of potatoes, I lose all respect for you.
