Confirmed to be 99 costumes for Mario Maker. They are unlockable otherwise, so you luckily don't have to buy 99 Amiibo to get them.

my local best buy will have 51 dark pit.

the guy at gamestop who helped me get my sister's 2ds convinced me to pre-order animal crossing amiibo festival. isabelle, digby, and 3 cards come with it.

my nintendo news has confirmed the 3ds nfc adapter is region locked. UGH.

it's not region locked lol, they're going off by what packaging says nor have they even tested it out.

Why WOULD it be region locked? Can you even region lock an NFC adapter?

You can but it would have to result in a system update patch to region-lock the IR Port on all 3DS' which would be time-consuming, and to rework everything in the NFC reader.

I don't really understand what the problem would be anyways. Why would anyone import it? Are anyone expecting extreme shortages for this product most people don't need/want?

i really want ness but like p much all stores here only have wave 1 + zelda and luigi and some of the super mario ones. and i have no money so eh

I got a Dark Pit but not without some trouble.

Apparently some Best Buys allowed people to get as many as three per person, despite the very clear one per person limit that was mandated company wide. I got to Best Buy late (10 minutes after it opened) and I got cut off at the line, with one person proudly proclaiming in the store "I GOT TWO OF EM". While I was leaving some resellers, who already had multiples, were talking about hitting Nintendo World (the Best Buy employee told us they had some) as well.

I then had to rush myself down to Nintendo World and snagged it there. There was no line, as there was also no real formal announcement. I ended up late for work.

Picked one up. My store received 36, and I plan to get another one tomorrow for trading

Good morning. since i didn't do this yesterday, i'll be sharing my dark pit story.

got to bb around 8am. was 24th in line. me and my dad were able to get separate tickets to help a dad get his sone an extra. got in about 7 minutes early, got dark pit, went home. We shared stories of our hunts, and the triple pack news was posted while we were in line, and we all were talking about it!

called tru a little later in the day, and they had gotten some wario, silver mario, 2 greninja, and one ddd. i got the right person on the phone, as they were able to hold one greninja for me. (which they don't normally do for hard to find amiibo, as they said it) i would have bought the one ddd to sell to someone at MSRP next saturday, but i only had enough money on me to get one amiibo, and i really wanted greninja.

I'll be camping out around 7:00/7:30-ish next saturday at a gamestop right next to a bagel place. Those 3 are my most wanted of wave 5b, so this triple is perfect for me.

Oh yeah I've been hearing for a little while that the UK is getting lots and lots of restocks. You can find most "rares" and even some "unicorns"
It seems like NA is the only place to still be unable to have a large supply of amiibo

come to australia where unicorns are almost as common as the super mario series

Ireland's drought has seemingly been ended too. Regular Rosalina restocks even, it seems.

Glad to hear you got Dark Pit buddy. I just got my Olimar in today and his figure is simply awesome. Good luck with the rest of the Amiibos and that hopefully getting that crazy 3 pack won't be so difficult.

The problem is more than Nintendo World needs to be getting the restocks. Not everyone in the US can just hop on a plane and fly to New York for a day to buy Amiibo. Sure, it helps the people in that area, but only that area.
