I don't think Banjo ever had that big of support. He just rode his short bandwagon for the matter of a few weeks. Rayman fared a little better than Banjo and still has a decent shot, but I don't think he ever topped the Ballot for long.

I use the Inkling costumes quite a bit. I haven't gotten any of the other costumes yet, but I'm planning on getting most of them soon, with K. Rool being the one I want most currently.

I can see your point with Rayman, but I have to disagree with Banjo. I never heard people talking about Banjo Smash-wise before Microsoft said "Yeah, that'd be cool". Everyone I saw would always shrug him off as "They'd be great, but it won't happen."

Also, I looked at the Smashboards supporters list. As of last December, K. Rool had twice the amount of supporters as Rayman does currently on his support page. Maybe Banjo and Rayman are more talked about outside of Smash, but K. Rool's got more support otherwise.

K. Rool only has that many "supportors" in part because of the stickies "Smash Democracy" thread on Smashboards (which was a stupid idea). He wouldn't have so manybif it weren't for that.

Even if he only had a bandwagon for a few weeks, it was huge enough that he probably gained a large lead on the ballot; one that could probably keep him in the top 10 even today if his support died down.

That said, Microsoft giving their blessing definitely turned it from a vague pipe dream to something that could be a reality, which got a bandwagon going and loads more supporters. I guarantee if Microsoft and Mojang came out and approved of the idea of Steve from Minecraft being in Smash, there'd be a spike in interest in having him in too, even despite the people who already wanted him from the start (same with Banjo).

...................My point was Banjo was always a relatively popular choice that exploded once Microsoft said they'd be fine with it.

There's still a chance of a new character, but it's very slim.
A) It probably would've already been leaked by now.
B) They usually have a Nintendo Direct for these.
C) We had 3 DLC characters last mont.

Great. Now we have a Mii Gunner animal costume to go with the Brawler's cat suit and the Swordfighter's monkey suit.

I got the update and DLC on 3DS.

I'm labbing with Rosalina, with the Wii U version left untouched.

Her controversial U-air still has not been touched, which I am happy with.

I also feel like her F-Smash (that's JUST Rosalina's, not Luma's) was buffed slightly with more knockback.

EDIT: Pac-Man's trampoline glitch was fixed, but his hydrant glitch, which was previously patched out, is back again:

I'm not sure if I can today, but I probably will be able. I won't be very good though because my gamepad is broken, so I'm using the pro controller.

Will customs be on?

I don't think tourney has a feature for turning off equipment, so I'll likely leave them off. We can do a custom one some other time though, for fun. Right now though, I'd rather keep things simple.

Unfortunately there is no way to limit tourneys to 1v1 either, so we will be doing FFA too.

I guess I'm the only one severely let down by the tourney. Playing tournies with my friends in Brawl was my favorite part. I wish this one wasn't online only.

I guess I'll stick to Brawl for tournies. There are so many things in Brawl that aren't in this one. I'm honestly starting to prefer that game over this one.

I'm let down by it, but doesn't mean I don't want to have whatever fun with it I can salvage.

The features are great but everyone has a bad connection that I've played so far so it's no fun. And then it doesn't have an offline option even.

And can someone explain why all replays are unwatchable after an update, because I'm getting tired of losing them. I know we can upload to YouTube now, but I just lost three videos that I wanted to upload. Now I have to wait for something significant to happen so I can save it...

it's bcause it doesn't actually save the match, it saves button inputs. and since the knockback and damage of moves changed, the replay wouldn't be the same.
