I'm a huge dick here, but I promise, it's only here. If you were to talk to me on Facebook, through text, over the phone, or in person, I'd probably be completely different.


Psychologically speaking, I probably use this place as my vent, my stomping ground, my outlet for all my negative emotions. I know that I offend people here sometimes, but frankly, I find it much better to do that than to bottle it up and one day let loose, which means hurting people I actually care about. No offense.

Well here I can type things out slowly and seem calm and collected, whereas irl I end up stumbling over my own words too often ._.

At least from my view point, no. Here, I'm more the person i think i am inside. Here I don't really have to hide thoughts or how I act, so i can be the true gay sparkling unicorn i am. This can also lead to problems as I don't exactly know when to quit exhibiting this free behavior and end up looking like a jerk.

if you strike up conversation with me you're basically gonna see the same thing here you would outside the internet, besides not hearing my voice and not seeing my body language, of course.

I'm very quiet IRL.

I think I'm a bit more mature on here than in real life or even on Skype. I think it comes from the ability to think about what I'm going to say before I post.

Sometimes I'm the same, sometimes different. Depends on the mood.

I'm more open here. I'm awkward and shy irl.

im quieter when it comes to talking to anybody here (website or skype). im very loud irl and just say whats on my mind.

I've been able to change it. Used to be pretty different but I've gotten more talkative offline.
I don't share some of my interest as easy, though. Cuz, you know, they're weird.

I'm much better at communicating in real life. For some reason I can't show what I want to say through text very well and most of my posts come out kind of awkward.

Practically identical. I prefer to keep to myself most of the time, and most of my attempts at joining in on something just turn out awkward.

On here, I act like I do around close friends/people that I'm comfortable with. So...kinda similar? Irl, I'm quiet and don't really talk to people unless they start it, but if you get to know me, I act like I do here.

I am the same as on here as I am in real life in many ways, I manage to stay on the logical side of things, have complex thinking, and am usually to get facts and knowledge of who people are instead of judging what is on the outside. I speak my mind most of the time and usually think about what I have to say to people before speaking it... I guess one can say I am a bit more social on here than in real life, but I feel both on here and in real life I keep to myself mostly. I try as I do on here what is good in other people's eyes, but I do it in a way of who I am and do not let other's thinking get me... Which I guess that can perceived as kindness but it depends on how you depict being nice so I leave that up to others if what I do is good or not.

So I am the same person on here as in life... Just that I cannot speak as I do on here as I do in life, which is why I guess I like making online friends a bit more, because it's easier to talk.

Nothing really changes when I close the tab

I'm pretty much the same, except ironically, I feel more limited here. I somewhat have to force my mannerisms and my humour to be a bit more American or even nerdy, since a lot of you would not get certain Irish slang and Irish humour.

Other than that bit of cultural adaptation though, I'm pretty much the same.

In real life, I'm very shy, and don't talk to many people. On here I'm completely random when I actually post, and talk pretty easily (unless it's a PM or guestbook message, in which case I'm pretty much the same as in real life.)

Well… in real life I communicate on highly selective basis. I only talk when it is absolutely needed or when I have a mysterious urge to do so. I like in-depth conversations. I don’t like pointless small-talk at all. Why to speak if the end result of the discussion does not lead anywhere? I am also emotionally highly distant in personal life. Only moments when I burst in hyper talkative mode is when I’m drunk. So I think that my behaviour here is eventually quite identical to the way I practice my communication habits in real life.

I'm way more quite on here then I am in real life.

I'm a bigger dick on here than I am IRL (I try to be a joking dick, not a serious dick though). I'm a quite upbeat guy when I have people I like around with me, but stick me in a class full of the world's dumbest idiots, I will ignore the hell out of everyone. *pops headphones in*

My thoughts and opinions remain the same but unless I know you or am used to you I'm notably more quiet.

Though really, ThroneofMalefor would be a better judge since he's seen the difference.

Not very different really, except I'm more likely to argue with someone on here (which I still rarley do tbh) because I can google things to help my argument.
