How pregnant are your states teens? [CLOSED]

My state's teens are responsible, and are at #47 out of 50.

And yeah, it's pretty damn stupid to call a girl a slut just because she's pregnant at a young age. I personally know plenty of girls who got pregnant (including some very close friends), and there's only one that I would call a slut. The others had kids with guys that they had dated for a long time and trusted very much.

Anyway, here's my logic. It's like when a group of guys who are close friends call each other ***gots and it's all funny and ****. They don't actually mean that they're gay, they're playfully insulting them. I call my friends sluts as an insult and ****. Y'know, when they kill you in a video game or something and you're like "aw, you slut". A teen is not a slut for having sex. Teens get horny, it's natural. But they're really ****ing dumb to get pregnant at that age.

I really don't find it funny when people use insults like that and try to pass it off as "being playful", because it's not. You could be really crushing someone and you'd never know it, because you're "being playful".

And I know that you specified "close friends", but how many teens do you know that actually keep it within their friend group and not do it to everyone they know and try to pass it off as "Dude I was just kidding"?

That's why only close friends (should) do it. Because they know their friends won't get hurt about it. I didn't mean to piss you off though, so sorry about that.

It's not so much you that pissed me off, moreso people in general who don't think before they talk.

But that's what I'm getting at- it's not only close friends that do it. And even so, just because two people are close doesn't mean that they get an "I can't hurt or offend you no matter what" pass, especially if one doesn't know something about the other.

Some of my friends (probably) didn't know I'm bi, because it's just never come up before, and have used gay as an insult in front of me.
