Define "classic"
Because Psycho, Vertigo, On the Waterfront, that's definitely some good, classic stuff. Other stuff that's more recent that could be defined as "classic" in my opinion are Jaws, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, and Silence of the Lambs.

But if you're just gonna say "lol true film classics are Citizen Kane and nothing else" then I'm done here.

It's not as great as everyone says it is. I can understand how great it was back when it was released, but it really didn't stand the test of time.

I loved the book, but I have to admit, wasn't a huge fan of the movie.

Am I the only person who thought To Kill a Mockingbird was not great? Not good even?

It might have had something to do with the fact I was forced to watch\read it in school.

If you were forced to read it AND watch it, I completely understand. It's the same I have a love/hate relationship with Jurassic Park.

Yeah, I was, I mean, I didn't think it was bad, but I don't think it was good either.

On to the actual topic.

I guess I haven't seen a lot of "classic" movies, but I find they're good.

Stuff like

The Matrix
Back to the future
Indiana Jones trilogy

and, uh, idk, star wars? That's pretty much it.

Those are pretty ingrained in both pop culture and had relatively good critical reception, so I'd consider them pretty classic.

One of the best classic actors is, of course, Cary Grant.

Good taste bro

I prefer Marlon Brando, James Stewart, or James Dean tbh, but Cary Grant was great.

James Stewart's one of my favorites as well. Gary Cooper and Fred Astaire are up there too.
