Learning how to use them. Now a days people don't really go out and try to find their mains but just go to tier lists and "How To" videos on YouTube. Mii team are easy, just grab and throw them off. They have no Up B.

And if you are using a character with an Up-air with good range, just camp under the ledge.

Nah, they just team-punish me for that. Like 4 side smashes at once. Not very safe.
And Lucas. Don't think I'll get anywhere with that.

Characters with strong crowd control moves work well for fighting mii team.
