These animals think that the only people that can even be voted for in elections are either democrats or republicans! These neanderthals should be locked up in cages for the rest of the population to examine and laugh at!

We need a Green Party or Libertarian politician elected soon. I fully support a multiparty system.

Not sure I fully support libertarian, but it would definitely be good to have some more representation. Like... actual representation of the viewpoints of voters. That is to say, I'd definitely rather see libertarians getting voted into office this election season than republicans.

Can someone explain the difference between Liberal and Libertarian? I have no idea what Libertarian is but I keep hearing about them.

Libertarianism is a political philosophy that upholds liberty as its principal objective. Libertarians seek to maximize autonomy and freedom of choice, emphasizing political freedom, voluntary association and the primacy of individual judgement. |

I don't agree with Libertarians on most things but I do agree a lot with the Green Party. I just want a healthier political scene.

![]() This simplified diagram suggests politics as a two-dimensional concept of economic freedom vs. personal freedom. Libertarians supposedly want there to be a maximum freedom of both. I personally think it would lead much too easily into plutocracy, which is actually sort of where we're already at, so maybe it wouldn't hurt to try? I suppose you don't particularly see very many libertarians, but I tend to disagree with the path they want to take towards that goal of some sort of maximum economic and personal freedom. The reason I call this graph simplified is that it implies liberals are the on the same part of the spectrum as socialists, which is not entirely the case. Both liberals and socialists suggest that wealth should be redistributed for the good of the group as a whole. Liberals don't truly push for this, though. Liberal Democrats, for the most part, are like this. They claim to be fighting for the middle class, but don't actually push for legislation to redistribute wealth quite as much as a socialist - such as, say, Bernie Sanders - would.
