Drug references and jokes are inappropriate, but the constant sex topics aren't? I get they get closed but I get my post deleted but they just get a simple closure. Topics can easily be deleted so why not delete those inappropriate topics also?

I've already deleted, like, 6 or 7 of those topics today alone. My rationale comes down to post number. If I find a rule-breaking topic in its infancy I personally always delete it. But if a topic has surpassed around 35 posts or so then it gets tricky. If itgets deleted off the 1st page, everyone notices and, on this board, two more topics about it emerge along with around 5 posts in personal thoughts.

But if you a lock one of those topics with a post denouncing the topic, it's supposed to send the message that that stuff shouldn't get brought up again. Obviously it has mixed success. Of course, deleting a closed topic just creates more confusion, so I avoid that.

In your particular case I'm not personally offended by what you posted and I would have given it a free pass in the past but as I've said multiple times today, I was recently told to no longer show posts about that kind of subject matter leniency. Maybe some lurkers complained in private or something, but I can only speculate. It really shouldn't be that hard to avoid posting this kind of stuff on the site. Some of us have mostly avoided doing so for years and our brains haven't exploded yet... as far as you know, anyway. <.<;
