Tomorrowland
^I really enjoyed it, but then again I have a fondness for films like it (sometimes I need a light-hearted, optimistic film to lift my spirit). Jurassic World ^Really great film, but there were some things which bugged me. I honestly found the Take Thats towards Jurassic Park III rather mean-spirited. Do note that I haven't seen any of the original films since I was little, so I guess I don't have the proper attachment, but... Good grief I found it all so very petty. And the 'If I have kids/WHEN you have kids' scene... I really hope I imagined that because I get really angry when things like that come up. It's a very sore spot for me. |

I had a movie streak tonight. Here is the order of the films I watched.
To me the most memorable and enjoyable one was the Muppet Christmas Carol. The OST is phenomenal and Michael Caine has portrayed the best Ebenezer Scrooge out there. A masterpiece… a classic…

Saw these like two weeks ago but what the heck.
Tomorrowland- loved it. I can't believe this movie bombed at the box office, because this is easily one of the best i've seen all year. San Andreas- it was alright. not great, but by disaster movie standards, it's one of the better ones out there. Jurassic World- loved it as well. definitely worth multiple viewings, and it's also a definite favorite of mine this year. I posted my overall thoughts on this film in a previous Jurassic World topic so i'm not sure what else I can say about it without being repetitive.

^Tomorrowland deserved to do better than it did. Such a shame...
anywho Jurassic Park ^I can't believe I went so long without seeing this masterpiece. Well, I did watch it when I was six years old and then my mom and my brother banned me from the movies (more on that later), but still. It's amazing how well this movie has held up over the years. The Lost World: Jurassic Park ^See, I'm conflicted here. I did enjoy the movie, but yet it didn't quite have the 'magic' of the first one? Still worth watching, especially for a freaking T-Rex in San Diego. Even though this is the movie that got little Isis banned when she, straight face and all, asked her mom and brother 'Was he tasty?' in response to Eddie getting eaten by the T-Rex couple. Jurassic Park III ^I will readily admit I enjoyed this movie, though that is probably helped by the Spinosaurus being one of my favorite dinosaurs and the Pteranodon is my favorite pterosaur. Also the scene with the Pteranodon approaching Erik on the bridge is one of my favorite scenes in the series. Chills, man. Godzilla VS. MechaGodzilla II ^This was just plain fun to watch, lol. |

Inside Out- hands down, Pixar's best film since Toy Story 3, and it might just be my new favorite Pixar film(let alone one of my favorite animated films now), and possibly my favorite film to come out this year so far. This one is definitely going to be remembered with other Pixar classics like Toy Story and Finding Nemo.

Easily Pixar's best film in awhile (and I say that as a traitor who liked Cars 2). I feel like I related to Riley a lot, which I didn't expect. |

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge out of Water
I enjoyed the first ten minutes, then it became slow and disjointed after that. The Hoff needed to be in it. Funny though. When I was a kid, I didn't really like the first movie, now ten years later I find it much better then the new one and I love it. |
