Just bought a Gamecube Adapter. Time to rekt **** up. Just went up against the most frustrating G&W who would just roll and spam grab hammer. He thought he was really good by taunting after every bull**** death. I beat him he switched to Ryu and spammed the Down B while rolling every ****ing second because he is such a pro at the game. >_>

He wasn't just nerfed so that he wasn't OP, he was nerfed so that he was FAR from OP. I'll admit that whether or not he's in the bottom 6 is very debateable, but he certainly isn't top 30 or 35 (disclaimer: neither is Donkey Kong, but he certainly isn't one of the very worst)

Characters like Shulk and Marth were in like D originally but the reside in F just for the sake of being a bit cleaner.

Is there a filter for content on the miiverse stage? I've seen a bit of questionable things already so I hope people don't abuse it.

Huh, when did Bowser Jr. get such a big buff. ...And on that not, how badly did Bowser Sr. get nerfed last time? Honestly, I'd argue against some of the list.

BTW, I noticed that AI usually fight according to the character you use. Like if you use Ness/Mii Gunner with Absorbing Vortex/Lucas, characters who use energy projectiles use them a lot less. ...But I was facing ArmPit earlier because I had just gotten Lucas and was trying him out, and ArmPit kept firing arrows at my PK Magnet, healing me for 15% life every time. I couldn't help but blurt out "DUMBASS!" every time he did it.

Oh, also, I would put Mega Man a bit higher. He's awesome.

I really hope Inkling stands a chance in there, imo, the Inklings really need to be in Smash.

Considering from now on it's gonna be fan service, we are pretty much definitely getting Wolf at least, as a non-ballot character. He has been way more heavily requested than Roy and Lucas, and definitely Ryu. So I don't even think he needs the ballot. Not to mention we are getting another big update in August, which will at least include tournament mode. It will most likely include one or two fighters as well.

But he didn't say "there is going to be several ballot characters". He said "there is going to be several more characters".

Technically you are right about him not saying non-ballot characters are done, but it's fair to assume Wolf is the only remaining one, if he's not ballot. So several ballot characters seems like a fair description.

How is it fair to assume that? We literally just got three characters the other day, all at once. The team has proven that they can develop multiple characters concurrently, and has likely already been working on more besides them. Furthermore, the ballot doesn't end until October. They have the time to add 2 or 3 more characters, one of them definitely being Wolf.

Tournament Mode is also basically finished now too. In the presentation the other day, he basically said it isn't out yet because the game's online stability is still being worked on (and considering the lag fest CAV and I just had, despite how we NEVER had matches that bad before, I can vouch for that personally). So basically all they could possibly be working on now is the online stability, the YouTube replays for the Wii U version, Mii Fighter costumes, and more characters (unless they have another big mode or two in store that they haven't mentioned). I don't include Hyrule Castle 64 and Peach's Castle 64 as they are literally done as we saw, they just aren't adding them yet.

Pretty much the only thing there that requires some degree of man-power are the characters themselves, everything else is something that's probably done by one guy, and in a short amount of time.

Dude, they are direct ports of stages from an N64 game.

The stages were shown in action too.

And modders have ported these stages around easily too.

Trust me, they're done. They're just holding them back because they want to add them into another DLC blow out, likely in August.

Layton would be really interesting to see, kind of like how Phoenix Wright was in Marvel vs Capcom 3. Since he's too gentlemanly to fight with his fists, I'd imagine he'd have a really unique moveset.
