Some of my favorite comments on the Miiverse stage. I hope some of you also get a laugh out of some of them.

I went to download Ryu, but he was more expensive than I had in my account (probably because he comes with a stage), so I got Roy instead. I tested him out in an online match, but I don't think I'm good with him just because I managed to beat a Jigglypuff scrub. Still...

-His neutral A only attacks once like Ganondorf's does. No good.
-His up B is cool. It doesn't have the vertical recovery of Marth/Lucina's up B, but it has more power, more horizontal recovery, can change direction before the attack, and has a bit of super armor as well.
-It might just be me, but his counter seems a bit weaker.
-His neutral smash is super powerful, but it takes even longer to charge to full potential than it did in Melee.
-Wow! The lazy voice actors couldn't even give Marth a new voice, yet they redid Roy's voice? WTF?

One more thing, I went to look at the Mii outfits, but I didn't see Totakeke's outfit in the shop. Also, I find it odd that there's only one Tekken outfit, but TWO Virtua Fighter outfits!

I can't believe they leaked Paul Blart, that's insane, I can't what to beat up John Madden with him. It's gonna be sweet.

My feeling on Ryu and Roy I think Roy is way better than Ryu and is a semi clone or even luigified also one more think

I love using Roy and his b-air has great priority. Lucas feels slower and Ryu is solid.

IMO Roy is pretty awesome. Not quite as good as Marth or Ike, but still a great character.

I use both Robin AND Lucina both, but my absolute main is Toon Link. Robin and Lucina are close seconds, Shulk third.

Amen, it's pretty stupid. Mewtwo at 12 (currently) is also a tad bit high for him.

I dunno why, but Ryu isn't really feeling it for me. I like him a lot, but he feels a bit clunky and slow overall. Also, his recovery is only slightly better than Little Mac.

And I haven't been able to pull off a single one of his combos, like the Shakunetsu Hadoken. Only a few times has it worked for me.

Well darn... I knew about Shulk for sure.

Got an eShop card today and bought Roy & Mewtwo. After playing around with Roy a bit, decided that he will be joining Shulk, Mii Swordfighter & Brawler among my mains and that I need his Amiibo desperately when it comes out.

ROB is such a WiiB. WiiB's are wannabe scum.

I wonder if the smash back room is going to have the first tier list out before all characters are even in the game.

Started playing Lucas a little bit more, and while his smash attacks are more useful than Nesses are he just is not as strong of a character. He isnt a bottom tier character but he damn well aint near the top.

Smash attacks don't make a character. All of Lucas's Smash attacks are situational despite their power. Lucas focuses more on combos.

Nah, Ness is the combo character of the two. He's just overall faster and he has moves designed to keep opponents close.

The big difference between the two is that Ness is better in the air game despite having worse recovery, and Lucas is better on the ground despite having better recovery.

I didn't say they did I just said Lucas has better smash attacks than Ness.

Well, better isn't very clear either
For example

Lucas's Up Smash is stronger but slower while Ness's is faster but weaker
Same for down
Lucas's side I believe is weaker in general while Ness's is stronger at the tip

I use the gamepad frequently and I never get input lag, unless the other persob is lagging.

It's not for online but putting in the wrong direction for Special moves.

If you're not facing the Wii U while using it, the screen lags too. Not fun for online matches.

Any wireless controller in any game will always have a slight delay compared to a wired controller.

I keep forgetting that I put Tap Jump off so I keep SD. The struggle.

Anyone else agree Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings are extremely underrated? Every one of their moves has utility, they are heavy and yet not huge targets, and they are great at being unpredictable and dealing heavy damage.

fought a little mac player on for glory when I was practicing Lucas. I managed to throw him off the stage without a chance to recover and make him lose his first stock. as soon as he respawns, he runs at me and uses his side-b. I perfect shield it, and he falls off the stage without being able to recover. I almost JV3-stock'd him.

Alpharad would be proud.

Actually they are light, but the thing about them is that if you hit the clown car, the knockback of your attacks aren't as great. However, if you hit the actual koopa inside the car, then the knockback is much greater.

FG Mac's are the worst, they almost exclusively don't know what they're doing with the character.

Little Mac's main downfall is his recovery. However, he is both fast and powerful. In the hands of a noob, he's less than a pushover. But he can be powerful in the hands of a master. Me, I use him from time to time. I'm alright at using him. I love it when I use him and a well-timed counter on my part decides the fight.

People think Little Mac is a run in and destroy everything in your path character. Just like the Rollers when Splatoon first came out.

Little Mac should really be played defensively. People play him like he's Sheik or Captain Falcon, but that's the wrong way to go about it.

Roy really was made well. A great example of a stronger but less agile version of another character. If only I could say the same for Dr. Mario.

They actually made Roy MORE agile than Marth/Lucina in this game. He has better air speed.

I think it's kind of an oversight in his statistics, he shouldn't be faster than those two. It's unbalanced. He gets more reward for his moves but he doesn't have to be as careful since he can get in better than those two to start with.

No idea what the video was titled or who it was by but they tested the input lag for all smash compatible controllers and they were all around the same at 4-6 frames.

I think there should be a mix. Like, there are times you need to play offensively, and times you need to play defensively. It is definitely wise to stay in the center of the stage, though.

Totally was gonna kill punish this guy on FG but the lag made me do it a few good seconds after I hit the button making me lose the battle I should have won against a guy who of course rolled every five seconds and taunted after lag SD. Then there was this goon who's strategy was to go to the end of the stage and Flame Choke or Wizard's Foot. Two stocked him after he thought Warlock Punching a Roy was a good idea. But I met this really good Ryu who kicked my ass. ^.^ I only had ****ty lag in one of these matches which was bull****! Seriously why can't SSB4 get servers as good as Splatoon?

tfw Smash servers are fine for you but Splatoon servers are laggy af
