Shift + click for new window.
Ctrl + click for new tab in same window.

Not perfect, since it isn't a mobile-friendly solution, but if you're on a PC, it's handy. :D

Well then I'm sorry that you don't want to take the extra second holding the link down to hit 'Open in New Window'. But I doubt dark is going to implement something like this just for mobile users.

It's not really about opening to a new tab but accidentally clicking a link making you lose where you are on the page. But I'm sorry that you can't accidentally click on links and lose where you are on the topic.
