I hope they have a portal owners pack and such for the different games I don't want to pay 70 plus dollars just to get both donkey kong and bowser as well as the wii and wii u games....seems a bit much. And what about spitfire and hot streak? will they be available outside the starter pack?

I'm disappointed as I absolutely didn't want racing content to start with. Now there are two pure racing games.

At least this saves me from buying a 3DS and a Wii pack. I was somehow foolishly expecting the 3DS version to be like the prior ones and I would get my normal Skylanders entertainment from that.

Seems that each press release is saving me money with less and less stuff that I actually want to own. Certainly SuperChargers is going to be a Black Friday pick up and not day one like with prior years.

Wow the CG DK makes the cartoon look recent. At least on Spitfire the texture hid some of the uncanny valley.

They don't make Wii Games anymore except for Skylanders. Try explaining it to them that it wouldn't be the full experiance if you got it for the wii.

NO Elemental Gates confirmed, none at all, anywhere. Supercharge Gates though for Supercharger characters, not Elementally aligned.

Please excuse my math if it's wrong, but do we know all of the reposed characters? I'm assuming that DK and Boswer counts as "reposed" due to Light and Dark being new characters. The last one we have not seen yet is magic which is surely going to be Spyro due to that book mentioning him.

It's really bothersome when they said 40 figures. 20 of which are character figures, and from that 10 returning and 10 new. Obviously they are fibbing somewhere as the math doesn't add up at all. Then again I felt that there was no way they would repose the dark and light characters as it's been too soon so something fishy was going on.

We currently know 15 characters, 6 of which are new, 7 skylanders revamps, and 2 amiibos.
The returning Skylanders are:
  • Tech: Trigger Happy
  • Fire: Eruptor
  • Undead: Roller Brawl
  • Water: Gill Grunt
  • Earth: Terrafin
  • Life: Stealth Elf
  • Air: Jet-Vac

We are only missing the Magic one.
