EDIT: if you look at the background of the two versions, you can clearly see that it looks more like a track on the Wii version and a land on the Wii U one.

Wrong.The nintendo figs only work on Wii,Wii U and 3DS

Alright, so those two other characters on the box are confirmed. There are three fire superchargers, but that means there is not two superchargers in each element. Or what if the amiibo superchargers are both the third element ones?

I mean looking at the blurry poster image before, you can see one light and dark supercharger and one light and dark vehicle. The amiibo do not show on the poster.

I guess this means I should start saving a ****load of cash for a Wii U and the game because if it's just the Wii U and the other are just Racing that's not gonna work for me...

Please oh PLEASE let Bowser and the Clown Cruiser be sold outside of the 3ds/Wii starter packs, I'm only getting the Wii U version...

I'm getting the Wii U version as well, I am also considering getting the 3DS version a bit, not only because of Bowser but I want to know what this version looks like. I'm expecting something like Mario Kart.

I'll be getting Wii U and 3ds for playing on the go.

So I'll get Wii U and 3DS and get both characters, and that makes sense considering that they're both different games. What doesn't make sense is that I'll be left with two Super Shot Stealth Elves.

If I had both Wii U and 3DS, I would repaint Stealth Elf and use both copies for both paths. However I don't know if path-changing works with her or the whole game, but I'm doing it anyway because it's more fun.

Was not looking forward to this too much(compared to previous games) but it seems I purchased a Wii U at the PERFECT time!!!

This will be lots of fun! So Wii will be racing based and Wii U, the same as the other consoles? Either way, this makes it more exciting. If it makes sense and is done right, guest characters can be a great addition. very smart and fun move here.

Skylanders 6 will probably be where I go back to PS4. Might as well have a game for all my main systems!

Is that with the touch pad thing? That's really cheap if it does. Most of those listings won't have the touch pad and they are in rather high demand. It's pretty much what's keeping the darned thing so high. Personally there isn't enough games that I like out on any newest system to make it worth my while to buy any of them.

I wonder if race tracks will be an additional feature/challenge map on the other systems? Would be fun kart style feature.

It comes with the black Wii U and the cord for it. You can just use your regular wii remote for the game, but I plan on buying the touch pad to.

Hang on, have I completely missed something here? I haven't been on here for a while, but has Skylanders turned into Super Mario Brothers? Surely all of this is a joke. I can't think of anything more ridiculous than a Skylanders racing game. It's not April 1 is it?

only the wii and 3ds versions are racing games. the other systems are the normal affair but with vehicles. just the nintendo starters have nintendo characters in them now
