This is low to the point where they are losing potential money in fear of lower demand. They could make much more money than they are off of the rarer Amiibo, but they aren't.

Yes, but there needs to be a balance. Too low of a supply raises the demand to unmeetable standards and only leaves money left on the table. The demand is very high, yes, but there isn't enough product being sent out to even try to meet it. They send out a set amount then pat themselves on the back for how popular it is, when people are scrambling to get figures that aren't there to be gotten. Releasing a bit more to try and meet the demand isn't going to hurt their sales, if anything it'll help them rake in more money.

I hope Nintendo announces a major restock for the rarer amiibo this E3.

Thank goodness, my Lucina's back on the cards. 2 months have passed since Saturn.de put my Lucina on hold, but now its being delivered to a fowarding service in Germany, and I have emails which confirm the shipping. Good news for once this week, I guess.

There is a chance that DLC characters can or can't. If they did then cool but if they didn't it's understandable because they would have to plan out Amiibo functionality awhile ago.

They already confirmed in the Direct Lucas was revealed in that all DLC fighters are getting Amiibos.

Slight correction - Iwata doesn't say that, but he does say Mewtwo and Lucas are getting Amiibos.

I would imagine though they won't say "all DLC characters will get Amiibos", as that lets us know there are definitely more characters coming.

I don't see any issue with bringing out DLC character Amiibos either, as they'll undoubtedly sell. Ryu may be a third party, but Capcom likely is more than willing to allow an Amiibo to be made, considering Mega Man has one. And it was likely agreed upon as soon as Ryu was allowed into Smash.

After the recent leak, Roy got added to my list of desired Amiibo.

Now that I have money, time to import myself a Lucina and an Inkling Girl.

I've got a Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, and Robin on the way from Australia for MSRP.

Plus, I could also have a Pit incoming from there. :3

Feels satisfying to have paid MSRP (plus shipping and not counting the different regional prices) for every Amiibo.

Have you tried smyths? Almost everytime I go there, they have at least one Sonic.

Oh lawd, 2 versions of ROB? I NEED THEM BOTH!!!!! G&W having different poses is interesting.... Quite tempted to get multiples for posing reasons. Really happy to see the last 2 I'd wanted since the beginning finally getting released.

EDIT: Something, I'm rather wondering.... The FE amiibo are also compatible with STEAM. When Roy is released, will a patch be done for STEAM for him to be compatible as well?

Can't believe this nightmare will be over soon. Boy do these last Amiibos simply look gorgeous. Falco was handled better than Fox, R.O.B. is fun with both variants and Mr. Game and Watch is the most creative Amiibo made with his different poses. Even Duck Hunt was handled very well with just the stick for the duck and not the dog. Well done Nintendo now if you can just supply more Amiibos for everyone to get what they want and were good.

Since FE: IF is still unreleased, they likely would've had enough advance notice to be able to include him, especially given he was sort of leaked in a Smash update last month. If he isn't, it would rather kind of suck as they should've had plenty of opportunity to include him.

STEAM is the one I'm really interested about as it is already released and if data for him was present in the coding, hackers would've likely already found it and we'd know. Meaning, STEAM would need an update to patch him in when he released if they do add him. If they don't, it would be a bit weird having him as the odd-man-out. Of course him being DLC, it'd make sense, but still weird.

Ah, well then. Wasn't quite sure on the release date and figured it was a bit further off. I also was thinking they might have known a couple months back when Smash would've been working on Roy as opposed to starting work to include him now. You would think groups in Nintendo would communicate to share these kinds of details but of course try to keep it all hush-hush, but who knows.
