They can be pretty cool and I don't mind them on others, all in all it's really none of my business

I wouldn't go so far as to call it gross, but 3 maybe 4 in one ear, is ok I guess. Though that seems a bit excessive to me. It'd be worse if several of them were gauged too. Even then, if I find one to have excessive piercings, it doesn't mean we won't potentially be friends. It just means it's a bit of a turn off in terms of dating.

I love piercings and tattoos, I have 2 piercings in each ear and am soon getting 4 in each. Tattoos will have to wait till i'm 16 or 18

I don't mind piercings and tattoos, unless they are extremely over-the-top and ridiculous.
I plan on getting a tattoo soon on my back of my own design, but it will probably be my only one I'll ever get. I feel that if your tattoo tells something about you or has special meaning, it is a nice way to express it. Piercings go in that same manner.
However, I do feel squeamish about guys having more than one piercing on their ears, and also if its anywhere else on their body (i.e. eyebrow, nose, tongue, etc.). It's gross.
