Xenoblade Chronicles
Xenoblade Chronicles is a science-fiction roleplaying game developed by Monolith Soft. It was confirmed in 2005 to be in development, but no such name was given. It was until E3 2009, where Monolith Soft officially unveiled the game as "Monado: Beginning of the World". The game underwent a name change, to which it was then called Xenoblade Chronicles, as a way to honor the developer, Tetsuya Takahashi, as he had developed the original Xeno series. It was until Late 2011 that a group named Operation Rainfall had started a movement to get this game localized to the Americas, as confirmation for launch in North America was still not set. After months of hard work, it was released in America in April 2012. It is now confirmed that a port of the game is coming to the New 3DS, which has been released April 2015.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is a spiritual successor to the previous title, Xenoblade Chronicles. The game was confirmed in a Nintendo Direct back in January 2013 under the name of X. The game was stated to have a vast open-world with seamless exploration. Takahashi has also stated that he plans to make this the biggest game world possible for the Wii U. At E3 2014, X went under a name change, and was confirmed as Xenoblade Chronicles X, with more gameplay shown. The main character is to be highly customizable, such as gender, shape, height, voice, skin, color, facial and body features. The game's transportation still goes traditionally by foot, then there's the option of riding a robot, 4 times the size of the player, called "Dolls" ("Skells" in localized versions). They can fly, traverse underwater, and transform into vehicles such as tanks and motorcycles. The battle system is extremely similar to Xenoblade's battle system. There are 5 continent to start from. Primordia, the continent where you start off in, is also the continent where New Los Angeles is stationed. Noctilum, the forest-filled continent. The Valleys of Oblivia. The White Land of Sylvalum. The Fiery Land of Cauldros.
