I honestly don't see what's wrong with him finding a character attractive at his age. But yeah...

No, not really. The human brain is wired to find certain characteristics attractive, no matter where they are found. It's a flaw in our thinking, but natural evolution doesn't work towards the optimum so we're going to have to deal with it.

Now, is it bad if you act on that attraction somehow? Maybe not, but it's definitely weird as hell.
