I thought about PS3 but it decided to be a jerk and gave the yellow light... i have a wii but I'm not sure... would like a tablet right about now.

The only system I have (besides a 3Ds) the Wii U.

Xbox One and PS3. If I get PS4 I'll probably just buy it for both next gen consoles.

PS4. If there is a Dark Edition, I will get it for the PS4 too. I still play with the PS3, but any new games I get for the PS4

Xbox One and Wii like with Trap Team. I like seeing the difference between the Wii and the other versions
Its been confirmed that the gameplay will be different in the Wii version to the others this year, so that's worth keeping in mind for those only getting it on Wii

I wonder if the wii u and 3ds versions will get amiibo support. I doubt it but if would be cool.

I'll buy it either for ps3 or for ps4. Probably for the second.

After the reveals. I am buying the Wii Starterpack and the WiiU version as digital download. Two different Skylanders games, awesome!

Wii unless I get a Wii U before then. And maybe the 3DS one to.

Thinking PS4, since Trap Team's performance on PS3 was a bit iffy at times (mainly in co-op), and this looks like a significant advancement over that. May get the Wii edition (if it is indeed different, and good) to play on Wii U.

PS4 X 2. Might only get one starter than one digital starter for the other system. It will kind of depend on how "online" the online component is.

IF I decide to get this, still need to learn more about this game, PS4.

However if the Wii U game is drastically different, in a positive way, then maybe I'll get the Wii U one instead.

As I have played on the wii for every skylanders game and since they said wii will be different I might get it for wii and wii u but I will wait to see what's different

PS4 Dark Edition if they have one from TRU and then the Tablet Edition for regular.

Just PS4 at release, unless there's a dark starter.
PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One once it's on sale... We enjoy playing the story through on each platform over time to make the investment in the characters last longer

None, of course. But I'd recommend that those of you who can go for the "current gen" system versions (PS4/Xbone/Wii U). If those sales numbers are large enough, perhaps that will convince Activision to greenlight a development shift to the current gen systems instead of the previous gen (PS3/360/Wii or Wii U). I still think it's pretty bogus that they're sticking with last gen and porting to the current gen to get higher sales. >.>

Maybe but it's good for the people who can afford the new consoles... like myself.

There not going to stop making games for Wii U. It's part of the current gen.

There was a Dark Edition on Xbox One in the US, but I just got Trap Team about two weeks ago. Kinda just got back into Skylanders in mid April after finding a tote of Skylanders in my kids closet and picking up Swap Force Starter Pack for $14. So in about two months time have picked up the two newest games and probably 40-50 skylanders (new and preowned), I am hooked now, plus my wife will play too.

Wii U and 3DS.

PS3. If they have a special edition starter pack, I'll get it.

Wii U

Wii U, the system I've used since Giants. Honestly, what really sells it is the Gamepad play, as my family often wants to use the TV for other things, like watching movies orp laying on the Xbox One. My dad did ask me whether or not I would want to get the Xbox One starter, and I would still get Off-Screen play (The Xbox Glass app would make a tablet act as another screen for play.). But, the Xbox is the main system for watchinf Blu-Ray, and honestly, there is no way to play a game like this and watch Blu-Ray at the same time. Not unless you have the game on another system. Wii U!

They have mentioned that the Wii and 3DS experiences will be different this year. I may also pick it up on the Wii U when it is cheaper (along with the previous games). It'd be nice to see what they do and change up.

Xbox one and 3DS, the xbox one copy though depends on if they do a dark/whatever variant edition and it comes out on the platform or not....otherwise 360 at launch

True. Might not even play the video game though, I only played TT and SSF on the day it came out, then I never played on that old Wii again. I never use it, I just play with the figures. It is actually a lot more fun than the game.

It's really not. The Wii and 3DS versions will be different than the official storyline, plus it's being produced by Beenox, who made the WORST game ever with Trap team for Wii. The graphics were bad, sound was horrendous, and it overall sucked
