There are no good roleplays and even if the premise is great no one is descriptive and they aren't worth my time if I write two paragraphs and they write a ****ing sentence in response, and then no one joins mine or they drop out. The best rp I was involved in had its GM drop off the face of the ****ing planet without a warning, then the co gm picked it up and then left for school and hasn't come back yet. People leave whenever I join rps so I'm cursed.

If you invite peeps it's better and they are more inclined to join.

To all of the Rp section: Stop making dragon roleplays. They don't make sense, they're weird, and they are literally all the same

I kinda feel the same way buddy. I like to paragraph replies normally as well, and I personally think that most of the roleplayers hate that. And everyone rinses and repeats their damn oc's, making nothing origional. I have some quarrels about all of it too.
I'm not yelling or trying to be mean though, I hope it doesn't sound that harsh
I'd roleplay with you though, if there was a good enough one available. I wanted to see your stuff in the Heart of Mana one I did, but stuff happened and most of my plot script was lost with my computer.

My new rp's are idiot-proof though(hopefully), and i was wishing that they would get good responses...

And yes, please. Just cause it's a dragon fan-site, doesn't mean that it has to be dragons. It becomes redundant and I could probably take the plot lines and compare them with only one or two differences.

I normally roleplay with people I know, and are pretty chill about some of my characters, especially some to most being from fandoms. Although I am still trying to get my OCs a good story that link them together. I mean with my FCs I can pick up some old lore from the franchise and work with that, while OCs require complete originality of a new lore that's theirs alone.

Excuse me, have you met Chimera? Jumping through dimensions is part of her story; a neverending search for her beloved.

As for the playing as dragons, I can understand why some might want less dragon RP's, but for me, I don't like playing as a human character, that's just not who I am.

Just cause you have a character with an excuse, doesn't mean you should use it for everything.

A lazy backstory does not a good character make

That's funny, I thought I was the target, especially with the 'dimension' post, I actually feel insulted. Chimera's past is anything but lazy.

I jumped onto the Roleplay forum with a lot of hype when I made my entrance a few weeks ago into this forum. But then I started to notice a trend. All these roleplays tend to go the same way every time, and I'm a little saddened.

I was at the circus with my girlfriend when all of sudden a snake bit her face. I strangled the snake but it bit me as well while stepping on Mountain Dew. I know have snake like powers such as biting and having a super strong body. I use my fear of Mountain Dew to torment my enemies into submission until they are no more. But then I saw my girlfriend return from the dead. SHe had green hair and snake like teeth. She tried to kill me but I killed her instead accidentally when I stabbed her with my sword that I got from a time traveling wizard when I saved his village from being attacked by bulls. Ever since that day I have stopped putting on the cowl and became someone else. I became something else. I am The wizard.

I'm a big offender of starting a rp and then basically dropping out. Honestly, i get bored easily and I have to force myself to post. Not to mention barely anyone joins rps I want to join anymore, so none of the rps can really work with 3-4 people. I admit the dragon and pokemon and Etc. rps annoy me to an extent, nor do i enjpy rps with dragons and non-humanoid characters, but people enjoy them it seems so let them have their fun.

Can somebody make a superhero RP because I'll actually participate in that.

Okay, I couldn't care less for the RP section.

I can guarantee you, most RPs are about, Skylanders or Wolves or Warriors.

(Then again, I'm crotchety old lady from 2010.)

I'm not saying i'd join, but i could at least boost the activity a little.

I have a few ideas so i'll pass them over.

I must also have to say that I agree. I notice that some people who RP here sometimes doesn't even have a story line! Or even know what they are doing either. I remember I join an Superhero RP called "The New Guardians" Or some crap like that and they all had OP characters! Then they jump down my throat because my character was able to dodge some bullets! And when I tried to have my character to interact with one of theirs his character was moving faster than the speed of light or some crap like that. That's when I decided to drop out but not before someone took control of my character and killed them off telling me that I don't know how to RP even though I've been RPing longer than they have up here because they even allow you to have Smut RP (as long as it was PM)

But anyways yeah some people are just plain rude when it comes to their RPs which is why ever since that incident with that RP I just make my own RPs. Even though I still get that occassion person who wants to either A.) OP a lot B.) Take over the plot C.) Someone try to force ship my characters with theirs. or D.) People dropping out without warning leaving people hanging

So in my opinion I think some of these RPs out here are just being run by people who just wants to mess around and stuff. That's why I try to make as many RPs with a actual storyline for people to try. As well I've been reading through the comments under this topic and I decided that I'll add an Superhero RP as well (been wanting to do one for a while now and Suppy and Demand lol )

I get so annoyed with the RP section. Most of the long lasting ones seem to be dragons or ponies. Then anything interesting that I would join doesn't get much following and doesn't last but a few pages. Most of the members in there seem allergic to RP'ing as humans so there isn't many I can even RP with anyway....

Have anyone check out the Digimon RPs? I believe they are getting it pretty bad as well. I mean they die off before they reach the starting line! And don't get me wrong I love me some Dragon RPs but I do have other RPs that I would like to do up here but I don't know if anyone would join because it seems to be all about Skylanders or some crap.

Heck even if I DO get one off I'm afraid that someone will make an OP character. For example: The main bad guy who enters to basically to show off his power and gives the characters a reason to become stronger or chase him down. A guy punches him and the bad guy is dead! Or "Don't worry we love you you don't have to be bad any" stuff where one guys character (after coming to life after the main bad guy kills him about three times already) hugs him. I mean seriously It seems to have a climactic build up here on dS.
