..For the huge influx of new users. With the reveal of the newest Skylanders game (which I'm sure no one on S&N here gives a crap about), expect many new users, especially children, to show up and flow into here.

...And then they abandon their accounts before becoming green. To tell if one is a (little) kid, look for spelling and grammar errors, not to mention bad forum usage overall. Keep your swearing down, too.

Children need guidance and we shall guide all the children back to the Skylanders section if they should happen to flow down here. We will make sure they return to the Skylander section where they can fight among themselves and be oh so proud of their new found game.

Usually they come around the time of the game's release. And the amount that joins has gone down every game since the first 'Landers.

I predict a couple thousand new accounts at most will be made due to this game, and 80%+ of those are never used anyway.

8104 users joined in 2012
5930 users joined in 2013
3266 users joined in 2014
1013 users joined so far in 2015. By estimation that means about 2400 users will join overall in 2015.

New users are coming in a lot more slowly than they used to be.

okay tbh i did the same thing for a yoshi fan site when i was 9 lmao

i got banned in 2 weeks and people thought i was some liar and played them. they still think to this day that i hacked and destroyed their site.

i was just a stupid 9 year old lol

I kinda agree with this.
At the same time though, most of the younger users are only here because of Skylanders, so they mingle with the other Skylanders fans in that part of the forum. But then some wander here and all hell breaks loose. But like you said, dark has denied that request so there isn't much we can do about it except deal with it.
