One thing I just thought of - if the superchargers are designed with driving a vehicle in mind, it means their designs will be limited to a bipedal humanshape form to fit in the cars (since you know corelanders won't be able to drive for some magical reason).

It's actually kind of funny how the corelanders have more design freedom in that way.

Just saw the image and I have to say I'm dissapointed. I was actually hyped for the reveal but this is just... I don't know! They've ruined Stealth Elf IMO and the first skylanders don't look very good to me. I hope we'll get to see an official reveal with more characters and toy forms today.

The PS3 starterpack It's up on Amazon with screenshots. I expecting a Third-person platformer from these screens. But wow the new stealth elf repose has a engineer as base the repose core must be superchargers too.

The Starter Pack Looks Great! So far everything abbout this seems preety good. well maybe not the new Steath Elf but I definitely do't mind having to get anymore!

EDIT: I wonder if our old toys can drive the vechiles or just the new ones... Either way it seems the reposes can drive

I don't have much to say from those screens yet, but it looks cool, I'll just have to watch the reveal in order to get a full opinion.

So, looks like the Vehicles are the gimmick and we will on get cores as 'SuperChargers. Hoping for 10 new, 10 reposes and 20 Vehicles

Yes, there is a trap hole. It's in the gray part at the very top of it.

Anyway, it looks like this confirms it's called Hot Streak and not Hot Steak.

It also looks like revamps will be SuperChargers.

I can't wait for this game.

EDIT: It also looks like there will be no base for this game. I don't see one on any of them.

I also believe there will be a number of vehicles that is divisible by 3, as from what I can see, there are 3 types of vehicles; land, air, and water. I believe there will be possibly 30 vehicles, so each type has a vehicle of each element. This leads me to believe there'll be 20 SuperChargers and 10 Revamps. Maybe there'll be no Cores this time?

Can anybody make out what these say? Or, even what some of them ARE?

The only thing I can deduce is that the character poster only has 8 lines on it which is weird.

my impression of the first gameplay teaser:

- Very Stron focus on vehicles

- Little focus on old school "brawler-platformer" gameplay

- Possibility of customizing vehicles

- Reposes are no longer reposes, in fact, they have new abilities thanks to their new weapons. They can be considered as new, or at least, expanded characters.

- Improved graphics.

- Higher speed of combat and gameplay

Anybody notice how the trolls in the gameplay are actually robots? That might have something to do with Kaos' plan this time around.

Piloting the air plane on the boxart of the starter pack. I thought it was the new air Skylander at first but that's definately Jet Vac's head.

HYPE! Reveal any time now, could be minutes away. As for the gameplay I posted from eurogamer, It looks like the game will be more open world and I'm loving the new sky and water areas, this game has got me excited more than any of the previous games.
Other Notes:
- Stealth Elf has multiple new powers, making reposes look worth buying this time around, that and they look like variants which is great.
- The new screenshots show many skylanders racing with arrows in background, I'm guessing online racing, anyone?
- I've noticed the bases are now flat with what looks to be elemental assigned colors to the base rather than Eg red from trap team.
- Graphics look phenomenal, atmosphere is looking great & really detailed environments.
- Still has the classic platform style with fighting areas for the characters in vehicles, can't wait to find out even more today!

Maybe just the SuperChargers can drive vehicles of the other elements, while the normal characters can drive only them of their own element.

The starter looks decent but my issue is will it be to much raceing or will we get to battle or explore like normal.

Too hyped.. just omg. So hoping for more

i have just seen the trailer, this is sad, i have no words to describe how disappointed i am... with "Little focus on old school "brawler-platformer" what i loved about skylanders, this is the end of the road for me. i was planning on buying the game on ps3,ps4,wiiu,3ds and all the new figures... now when i have seen it been mario karted, im done before even the game is out.... all i can hope for that the next game will be back to the more traditional game.


edit:
after seeing the cars being more toys to play with, i am just baffled how much kiddified this game have been.. i cant see many older gamers getting into this. one thing is to have a cool figurine, but play toys of cars that is a whole other story. i think vv have gone to far with this...
