Hmm. I'm feeling a little afraid as I'm not exactly liking what I'm seeing. I'm very much not into racing and now I'm seeing something that looks like a very modern Wacky Races. Of course it's still too soon to make a judgement but I really do prefer a dungeon crawl type game for Skylanders. At least the repose characters looks very different this time around although quite silly. I wonder if High Five was a teaser for this game?

I thought that they are in California at Activision, so that would mean like 3 AM Eastern time?

So can we expect something no later than 3 AM because its technically June 3rd everywhere? Or do you think they specified a time on the NDA?

Because I'm sure many different people wanna be the first to publish the reveal...

Technically it won't be the 3rd everywhere till 12AM GMT June 4th. The point is that 3AM Eastern means that it is the 3rd in all of America.

3AM Eastern time, people here are all over the world. Anyway it's what I'm assuming based on posts elsewhere about people going to visit Activision in California for this event, but really it's anyones guess about the time.

I noted that on the first post in this thread that they put the image I found of Baaa-ttle Flag a few months ago. Has that been confirmed? I'm still feeling that it'd never happen, you know?

With the leaks today, I can't see them waiting too much longer.

My understanding is that there were two events. One in Cali, and one in NYC. I'm setting an alarm for midnight EST and midnight Pacific, just in case.

How did we go from an awesome Magic design like Enigma to that... goat thing?! Hopefully if there's another magic character it'll be better looking.

It's VV's character design. I wouldn't call it ugly, just different. It almost looks like Tessa's face...

One thing I just thought of - if the superchargers are designed with driving a vehicle in mind, it means their designs will be limited to a bipedal humanshape form to fit in the cars (since you know corelanders won't be able to drive for some magical reason).

It's actually kind of funny how the corelanders have more design freedom in that way.


With the new clothes reposes, I really hope we get some armored dragons!

And there'd better be some Rat Fink-inspired character in there too.

Not necessarily. Spitfire has a snake body. Not legs on him.

It looks to me (and I could be wrong) that the cockpit is about the same size as the engine we saw on the two leaked skylanders bases. It also seems to be somewhat square shaped. It's very noticeable on the Boat Goat and you can kind of tell on the bird, but on Spitfire I can't see. My guess is, based of of boat goat's cockpit shape, only the gimmicklanders can ride in a vehicle, by snapping the motor out, and putting it in a vehicle, as others have already speculated.

It looks good, but it kinda reminds me of Sonic all stars racing.

No way, at this point skylanders is still growing and making huge profits for Activision and just when we thought they couldn't top swap force, out came trap team and last year we thought they had reached the peak and were running out of ideas. Yet again this year they are providing us with another what sounds solid so far gimmick. People saying skylanders is ending and who have fear of too much change, rest assured Activision won't mess this multi billion franchise up. Even their other properties such as COD BO3 is looking to be the best yet. I'd say skylanders will keep going along with Activision's other main franchises for as long as it makes the money their making today.

Not sure they're "growing" per se. There's the 1.6 million starter sell gap between the first 3 games and Trap Team to account for.

One hour left until the 3rd. Not that I'm really expecting anything then, but still...
