You totally can. They rarely try to punish you in the air, they just spam airdodges and you can bait them into air dodging near the ground, causing them landing lag.

I have a great amount more trouble baiting airdodges out of lvl 9s than FG players.

They literally air dodge as soon as you attack near them, almost 100% of the time. It's very easy to bait them into air dodging into the ground, and have them frame trapped from there.

There's usability, but the reason a lot of lower tier characters are where they are is because they generally are only good against very specific characters. Put them up against anyone else and you have to play perfectly to win.

I mean, they can all be used for effective recovery. Combining them would be a bit OP.

Yeah pretty much the opposite of Brawl Meta Knight. He could just stay in the air as long as he wanted in that game.

It doesn't effectivley trap opponents for damage though. And they can DI out.

Hot damn, for a high tier character, Mewtwo is one of the easiest characters to use right off the bat. My friend just started playing smash and he's already whooping ass with him. Obviously it takes some time to master him, but because of the large range of his aerials and smash attacks he's very beginner friendly as well as a great character for high level play.

Eeeeh Mewtwo is kinda average. He gets bodied by characters like Sheik and as a Rosalina main, I can KO him disgustingly early because he's so light and easy to hit. I've KO'd Mewtwo's off the top of the stage with Rosalina in the 20% range. He's that light.

He's kinda forced to play defensively as he's very easy to punish, but he can be great in the right hands. You won't see him too much in tournaments though, especially since he currently lacks customs.

Yeah, the fact that he's the second lightest character in the game as well as a large target is a major double whammy he has that ultimately makes him a glass cannon. If he had the more respectable weight he had in melee though he'd be absolutely incredible.

Honestly, I've played a lot of this game, and I was trying to see if Metaknight had any real value in online play (nope), and I found myself getting comboed very easily, despite him being a fairly small character. People always say how big size is such a huge burden, but it's really not, since it depends on the user whether they get comboed or not, and a really good Bowser player would be able to get out of combos better than a lousy Pikachu or Kirby player.

Also, I don't trust EventHubs with tiers, but I can't find any other tier site. Still, I don't think Mewtwo is that high. He's got a lot of power, but his weight is holding him back. His size isn't that big of an issue in the air, since his dodging capabilities there are pretty good, but on the ground he's no better at dodging than most characters.

Aside from his weight, Mewtwo's main problem is how punishable he is. Combos are rarely a thing with him too because his attacks have long start-up in a lot of cases. He's really a character that you play defensively with. Let your opponent come to you rather than going to them.

I have a question. I have the code for the splatoon costumes but it says it will be released with the new summer dlc. That means we will have to wait untill lucas?

It looks like alongside the Splatoon costumes, a K.K. Slider costume will most likely be joining the Mii Costume Pack 2. Which is probably going to be announced at or around E3.



Currently however, it is a JP exclusive 7 Eleven deal scheduled from June 19th to July 11th. They did similar promotions back when New Leaf was launched.

This one is pretty good, but Jr. and Rob are not top tier.

Rosalina is 1st/2nd material, should be way higher. Putting her anything below top 5 is just being outright random with her placement. (as a general note to everyone, you can give me all of the terrible waifu jokes you want, but keep in mind the best Smash 4 player in the world agrees with me on this).

Ness is top 5 material. Shouldn't be any lower than 6.

I'd say Mario has a greater learning curve than Luigi, but is ultimately the better character in skilled hands.

Also, Wario should be much higher as he is one of the most versatile characters in the game and has great ways of racking up damage and scoring KOs alike. It's also a major plus that he's heavy and a relatively small target (opposite of Mewtwo and Rosalina).

Eh, I'd disagree with that. I main Mario in this game (he's my 3rd best character IMO, dunno if other players who fought me agree though), but I honestly can't use Luigi that well at all. Mario fit right at home with me as early as the 3DS Special Demo, and was just so easy to get good with. Luigi takes everything Mario has, and just makes him feel as unorthodox as possible. Slippery traction, air and dash speeds that are wildly contrasting, unorthodox launch angles (his N-air shooting people straight up for example, despite being a flying kick just like Mario's), etc.

Luigi has the cyclone which is kinda abuseable and I'd call it a "noob killer", but a decent player can get by someone who's spamming that anyway.

Main bias.

Oh also, Pac-Man is not below Mega Man.

And Toon Link is not below Meta Knight.

Jr. and Mac are not that high at all. Mac is C Tier at most and Jr is around B. Doc is about right though, maybe a bit high.

...Final Smash doesn't effect tiers. Tournaments don't play with items on.

And good luck actually getting the Smash Ball as Dr. Mario, especially against regular Mario.
