Zer0 is the game beginner friendly if I never played Dark Souls (I don't think I ever did), since I may be picking up a PS4 and this on Saturday.

Absolutely not. There is a learning curve, but its an incredibly well done game. In fact, its perfect.

My order of preference...:

Bloodborne > Demon's Souls >= Dark Souls > Find something else to play > Dark Souls II (disappointing, but still good)

I meant like, would it make me rage quit and never want to play it again and end up trading it in for another game in the first hour or not?

Depends if you're up for a challenge. The game is fantastic and you're missing out if you don't play it.

I'll try it with any extra birthday money I get smilie I'm planning on getting FFType-0 because **** the PSP version lmao, plus Walmart near me still has launch editions with the FF15 demo code.

Awesome. I hope you get the time to play it, especially when the expansion releases. AotA (Dark Souls Expansion) is the best piece of DLC ever.

Just remember that games like this aren't for everyone.

It took me three times to finally get into Dark Souls.

I find it so weird that Dark Souls didn't entertain you the first time you played it. Its magnificent.

Not everyone is going to like the same things you do.



No, I was just taken by surprise because most people are really impressed and want more when they first start souls/borne.

Patch 1.0.4. announced too!

I'm assuming that the patch is going to nerf the Evelyn and nerf the Rifle Spear + arcane gem damage output.

for the love of christ buff the arcane damage output for those that go for fire or bolt weapons. especially bolt, fire is significantly easier to level and get at a higher damage output than bolt
