Wario is slowly scooting up the tier list, lately. His bike is just too good in certain situations, and his glitchy physics can save him from dying.

Captain Falcon is about high tier, Lucario about mid tier, if not mid-low.

Lucario may seem amazing in lower level play (him and Little Mac are "noob killers", Lucario is a "lag warrior" IMO too), but in high level play, his Aura doesn't mean nearly as much since he'll be getting KO'd before it gets too strong (he's pretty light), and he really is quite bad before his Aura really kicks in.

To be fair, you didn't exactly specify that. You just said "this is where they all stand at the moment", which sounds like a tier list based on the current meta/build more than "what characters I'm best with".

Simply saying "this is my order of preference in characters, #1 being my best, #49 being my worst" would have made a lot more sense.

ZeRo (the current best Smash 4 player in the world) started a series of his own personal tier list.

He views the top 8 as Sheik, Rosalina, Luigi, Pikachu, Diddy Kong, Ness, Mii Brawler, and Sonic.

ALSO currently accepting challenges for Smash if anyone is up for it.

I swear, Captain Falcon has become the most common character in competitive play.

^If we're talking professional tournaments, I tend to see Sheik more than anything.

I just like her general balancing more than Marth being better at the tip. She feels a bit easier for me to control for whatever reason.

That and because I freaking loved Lucina in Fire Emblem Awakening. She's one of my favorite Nintendo characters.

I like Marth and do somewhat well as him. Lucina is just hotter, lol. I love her hair.

Does anyone know why EVO is banning all Omega stages?

I find it confusing because they allow stuff like skyloft when it's more hazardous than Battlefield omega.

Skyloft isn't legal at EVO. Apparently Nintendo don't hold the full rights to one of the songs on Skyloft or something like that, and are not allowed to play it on a commercial stream.

Kongo Jungle 64 is also banned for the same reason.

Should be noted that hazards are not really what defines a stage's legality. It's more down to how strongly they favour certain characters. Stages are mostly banned because of either too much random factors, or being too favourable for certain characters. For example, stages with permanent walk offs are automatically banned because characters with strong throws and what not benefit way too much from them.

Excuse me on that then. I thought it was. Point still stands with Delfino, Halberd(with the cannon) and Castle Siege. Those are legal but Omegas aren't.

Final Destination has always been a counterpick as is historically, and people still debate whether or not it should be legal at all. It has always favoured characters with a strong projectile or ground game.

Omegas are more unbalanced since a lot of them have walls that go all the way down, which favours wall jumpers. In general, it's just too much effort to not pick each Omega to see which ones should be used. FD is the most balanced Omega anyway.

2) Why aren't any other stages banned for music copyright, and only a select few omegas?

I'm pretty sure the Omegas that are banned for music copyright have their main stages banned for other reasons as it is. Windy Hill is likely an example.

As for why they aren't just turned off - time constraints. They have enough to deal with getting all of the custom sets set up as is.

I was playing as Duck Hunt, my opponents were Greninja and Iggy Koopa, and my partner... was a self-destructing troll named "tony" who used Jigglypuff. This guy kept killing himself over and over, pretty much doing nothing else the entire time. The first time someone kills themselves, you might think it's an accident. No way, after doing it again and again, I realized he was doing it on purpose. Thanks Mr. Jiggles!

Something like that happened to me once. I don't remember anything except for that I was doing Team Battle on Kongo Jungle 64 when my partner kept killing himself over and over. And then I quit in the middle of the battle.

Well tiers for Smash 4 are generally not solidified right now, but I think ZeRo's videos on who he thinks the Top Tiers are is a good reference for those. He'll get around to more characters soon too.
