I just hate seeing poor new users, even returning users receiving crap for being an 'alt', even so.

It's actually ironic. People need to understand that new users can potentially grow knowledge and internet experience from other sites too, just because THEY matured or grew from darkSpyro doesn't mean others are forbidden to. In knowing that, there is a likely change that someone can be an alt, but who cares? Put it like this; what if that user WASN'T an alt and they're receiving all these messages for being incredibly "smart" or "dumb", doesn't give the right to do such.

I was absolutely 100% sure that he was an alt. I had never been surer about anything.

And even though we called him out for being an alt which is literally the same as being hazed in, no one was particularly rude to them, I never directly insulted him nor did anyone else. We don't make fun of users as much as you think, but this was an exception, it was an obvious alt.

I'm not being specific on sooty, I'm talking in general. I don't like going too far with assumptions, and maybe users might find that picking on them even if it doesn't seem like it to you. Especially if they were ACTUALLY a new user and not an alt.
