Dang, even the last 2 I just bought last week!!

I really want to buy the Eon's Elite figures, but I just can't bring myself to do it. My fear is that in this game or the next, Activision will nerf the Elite figures to make way for the next promotion and reduce their utility.

When does it end?
I debated to go to TRU on friday because of flip wreck and fling kong.

I have one thing to say

just called my local gamestop, price is same in store ( not a online deal only). asked him how long this will last for but he didnt know. he sounded like he didnt know about them ether so this was news to him too, lol. but im going there right now to get stealth elf and terra fin. will have 4/8 elites ( missing trigger happy, chop chop, eruptor and gill grunt, i dont really like them thou)

My store thinks it's an online only deal and wants $24.99 in store still.

Just do pick-up in store off the website to get it at the sale price?

I was trying that but it was coming up full price on the website if you ordered for store pick up. I called back after seeing the ad had the sale price and she scanned one and it rang up on sale. So their system doesn't show the price until it rings up in a sale. She said some of the sales are like that. If anyone else calls, make sure they ring one up before they tell you it's not on sale.

thats what the guy did at my gamestop, rang it up to see the price. also i just got back from gamestop too. judging by amount of elites they had this might be a permanent price reduction, im not 100% on that. also for some reason they had like 20+ lightcore hex's for half price too.

Thanks OP! I have been wanting an Elite Stealth Elf ever since I found out about her but I was so hesitant to pay $25 and tax. Even at $17.99 and tax a few months ago was a bit too high. $13 is just right for me to pay for a core Skylander in a fancy box. I believe that they'll go down even lower but I've waited long enough and I didn't want to take a chance that the stores around me was out of her. They only had two of her and about a dozen figures in total, so either they have been selling or they are storing the rest in the back. I recall at least 50 boxes of them in total about 2 months ago.

For some reason, she had 5 layers of price stickers on her! Luckily they peeled right off. I know a lot of people where rather upset about the stickers and getting them off.

I guess they are not going to be uber rare and highly collectable, right? I remember having a big worry about that at the time. I wonder if the Elite line will continue for Sky 5 or if this sale is a fairly good indicator that the line is a flop? Perhaps if they made a different pose rather than a repaint, it would have been more popular?

There are tons of these in stores...I would say this is the first of price drops, but with this price point, I'm finally inclined to go to a store tomorrow to pick up one or two of these guys.

Don't take too long to decide. I think given the availability of this "limited edition item" it's safe to say this may be the last time we see collector editions.

Hope there is a similar deal in Canada soon.

Well, thanks to this promotion, I was able to buy a third set of these for my kids. Thanks for the heads up.

I was visiting Canada a few weeks back. That 9.99 sale is long over. I was told by an EB Games employee it was only on for a week or so. I went to several EB Games locations and they were all at Canadian retail price (I think $30 if I recall correctly). Luckily, Eon's Elite is in plentiful stock at my central NJ GameStop locations (even the ones sold out online).

EDIT: it seems the ones which were sold out a few hours ago are all in stock online and available to ship within 24 hours.

Yeah I know, it ended during the first week of April if I recall, but Elite Eruptor and Gill Grunt were not released yet. I don't want to pay full price for these two considering the huge discount we had not so long ago :/

I finally picked mine up. I refused to pay the original price for them this was just the deal I was waiting for.

This was my "right price", went to a lesser traveled store and picked up the ones I didn't have - a few have stickers I'll have to deal with, but apparently they learned and the later ones did not have them. Wish they kept them in the bags like they used to do. In my opinion, they would have done well had they started at $14.99 at most, similar to "premium" figures. The whole lines looks fantastic in person, by the way - pictures don't do them justice.
