Darkspyro is owned by Hubert Thieblot of CURSE INC since 2015. Darkspyro was registered with ENOM INC. on November 14, 2005. Hubert Thieblot resides in HUNTSVILLE, USA and their email is SUPPORT@CURSE.COM.
Earlier, Dark Spyro owners included Hubert Thieblot of Curse Inc in 2013 and Curse Inc later that year as well as Alex Bates in 2012 and Alex Bates Registered through: GoDaddy.com LLC (http://www.godaddy.com) later that year.
The current Darkspyro.net owner and other personalities/entities that used to own this domain in the past are listed below.

Dark52 no longer owns the site, but has administration control over the site and the site only. As far as FTP permissions....I highly doubt he has much control.

This would also explain the default time zone change recently.

The site must be worth a lot for Curse to continue the merger and eventually purchase the site off of dark.

So... the site would still be running even if dark was absent for a certain period of time?

And yet darkSpyro still isn't on the list of Curse websites and gets no promotion whatsoever on their site, and the copyright down below is still under Dark's name.

WHOIS has official documentation from registered web hosting and domain sites. Its actually necessary for all sites to have WHOIS documentation.

The info on the page is partially inaccurate though. According to the page Dark hasn't owned the site since 2013, and the creation date is off by over a year.

I'd like to hear more from Dark himself but right now I'm not very convinced.

No, the page implies the site merged with Curse in 2013 and then was later sold off to Curse in 2015 and ran by them.

That's still confusing. Again, I'd like to hear from Dark if he sold it off or if the site is simply claiming Curse/Herbert as the owner because the site is being run on their client (once again worth noting that the site is not in Curse's network and isn't promoted).

Also why does the site have a 1 star rating?

I don't know if you know this, but, the site pulls information right off of the hosting and domain registrar. Its accurate.

As for the one star rating, that's weird.

It's not "accurate" if it got the site's creation date wrong.

I'm going to assume that the 2004 date is from when dark was using a free domain/hosting plan, similar to (dot)tk.

Then in 2005 he must have used money and put the site on godaddy permanently, there for WHOIS information started becoming documented then.

Whoa hey buddy, WHOIS is accurate. I do happen to know that for a fact. I've ran several sites in the past and have permissions to have personal WHOIS information.

It's still darkSpyro. It was still a site. It was still created in '04. It just changed domains and got registered then, but it should be '04 on the site because that's when it was ACTUALLY CREATED.

Also since the site is hosted by Curse in some form, wouldn't the whole "ownership" solely be in regards to whoever owns curse, which is liable to change without anyone on the site being affected in any way whatsoever, including Dark?
