For me:
2011 - Role Playing in the games pages. Not even knowing what the forum was for. When I finally figured out what the forum was I only posted in General.
2012 - Hating on Bronies and pretty much everything.
2013 - The Brightscales Era. Mostly active in Stuff and Nonsense, made a lot of friends.
2014 - Mostly inactive, left S&N for a while.
2015 - Aww yeah, gimmicky topic ideas.

Or all of such in a year or less.

2013- That guy, and obsessed with skylanders
2014- inactive until December
2015- That guy, but no longer obsessed with skylanders.

2006 - ****

First year - fanfiction focus, not known much else.

• 2012- making friends with literally everyone, was an asshole in some areas of the forum, ended with depression, spammy as ****, rule breaker.
  
• 2013-got through depression at the beginning, my usual crazyness, started posting less outside of S&N, spammy as ****, not a mod.
  
• 2014-not very active, S&N started being populated with different people, gone from July-December
  
• 2015-My return to pre-2014 levels of activity. Basically just a more mature version of my old self, still not a mod.

2013: Humble beginnings in the Skylander's Section, back when I had interest in it. Tis' be a good time, except for how much of an idiot I was. Bahamut drama happens later in the year once my interest for Skylanders starts waning.

2014: I honestly can't remember a lot from this era. I do remember it being pretty nice and cool though. Gnarlytreesnex and ExtremeSpyro incident happens which drives me insane.

2015: So far, so good. Not too much to say so far since this year has been calm from what I can recall. The only thing I would change about it is completely reduce the amount of trends.

2013: The most notable year. Hyper and crazy stuff going on in S&N, fights, trends, arguments, odd jokes, etc.
2014: A toned down version of 2013.
2015: Not much is going on.

Well, I guess it wouldn’t hurt if I posted nutshell version of my dS history here. So here we go…

2007 Joined the site and basically tried to jot my own thoughts to Spyro-related topics that were interesting for me; being pretentious and arrogant and stuff.

2008 In this year I did the same stuff I did in 2007 although my activity rate began to steadily decline towards the end of the year and my long hiatus from posting began in December.

2009 The Dark Ages began. I only visited the site on very rare occasions.
2010 The Dark Ages continued
2011 All quiet on the western front…

2012 The resurrection year. In the mid-year I made my low-profile comeback to the dS and found the flame that escaped my grasp 3,5 years ago. Found Stuff and Nonsense and the story goes on… The Quest for Gold began.

2013 In my Quest for Gold which in the later years became Quest for Emerald and now is the quest for platinum (given that the site exists long enough) I decided to implement post-per-week principle and try my best to find subjects into which give ridiculous insight on

2014 The Emerald Journey ended and to this day my most active year in terms of post count and overall interaction with the community

2015 I guess that this year will be quite the same like the previous year. If my current posting rate stays the same, this will be the most active year of mine here statistically speaking.

2012- Into Skylanders and was pretty active on the Giants sub-forum. My posts were also a 40/60 of actually posting properly and just posting stuff because I felt like it.

2013-Became mod 3 months after joining(how in hell did that actually happen Dark), the one and only Slenderman fiasco(Happy birthday to me indeed.), screwed some other stuff that I did as mod. I also posted with grammar much more often, and was still mainly active in the Skylanders sub-forum.

2014-Screwed more stuff up as mod and finally resigned in September(Best decision I've made here). I was pretty active in Video Gaming at the time and after some advice I began to try and integrate myself into other sub-forums like S&N. I also took a lighter approach to posting and I went inactive on the Skylanders sub-forums.

2015- Easily my best year so far, I've been having fun posting in S&N and Video Gaming as well as Forum Games. I enjoy posting here more now I don't have the mod title on me any more. I also became more active, though not much more active than the 2013-2014 years.

2011: Skylanders is **** and religion wars are everywhere
2012: Skylanders is less **** and I'm homestuck trash.
2013: Obscure cartoon trash
2014: Weaboo trash
2015: ???

2009ish- Childish arguments over Dawn of the Dragon, childish arguments period.
2010- Made lots of friends, posted fairly often, was fairly happy besides some childish arguments. And lots and lots of fanfiction.
2011- Don't remember much. Fan fiction probably.
2012- Don't remember much. I remember the Skylanders announcement and being like "huh...I dunno what to think of this yet." Got it anyway and kinda liked it. I think I became a lot less active post wise after I dropped fanfiction.
2013- I think that was that horrible year... Started posting less and less.
2014- Posted even less, lost friends to inactivity or other things.
2015- Hardly ever post, watch everything, barely talk to other users.

2012: Skylanders! Skylanders everywhere!
2013: Ooh, off-topic sections. Who's that ShadowMewX person again?
2014: DS Chatzy! Late '13 early '14 was my prime activity. Also, role playing!
2015: Just Gold. *reference'd* I seem to have cemented my place in DS.

2014: Annoying new kid who spams RPs when they're not needed.
2015: Same as above, except not annoying anymore.

Okay let me be serious. I'll only mention the periods when I actually had an account, not the lurking ones.

2012: Extremely mean noob who'd get offended to every little comment, had anger issues and fought back to the "meanies", hated the know it all's and stayed in the Skylander sections, also leading to depression.

2013: Very inactive, though grew a lot of friends and started shifting more towards Stuff and Nonsense, though I first started posting in Stuff and Nonsense around late 2012. I was on the Forum Games board A LOT this year.

2014: Pretty active, joined a lot in conversations, apparently I had my name on a lot more friend lists! Ha, yeah. Good year on darkSpyro, though had some downs. Met amazing people and started getting addicted.

2015/NOW!: Is still alive and obsessed, and I suppose this is how I am today.

2013: Roleplay and Skylanders. Didn't make many friends. Really embarrassing behavior.
2014: S&N. Made lots of friends. Lost interest in skylanders.
2015: Inactivity.

1985: joined the republican party

2012: I start off as a kid with a Skylanders and Dave Days obsession, along with little to no experience with forums or Internet in general. I use dS as a place to discuss the subject with people I do not know at all, so this way I can remedy my sucky outside life with something fun.

2013: The Kappatar era. The beggining of an S&N "presence". The introduction to new people to consider as friends, around the same time as the Brightscales incident. The meeting of CL.
All in all, a slow but helpful lesson that helps me in my maturity and own personal self.

2014: Not much really changes, although I consider this the time where I can notice the change in myself that this forum has given me over the years. Eventually the outside life starts to change in a positive way, but that makes me unbalance the time I spend here.

2015: My activity drops faster than the Wii U's sales did. I've become a person who lurks every single time I can. The number of topics in which I feel to post has greatly reduced, but I still like to watch how this site grows and changes.
