Yeahhh... Wii U all the way, you'll have so much more fun and the graphics will be immensely better, even though it doesn't have a huge selection of games at the moment~

UR NOT DEAD

I recommend Wii U because it's better and you can still play Wii Games on it. You get a wider selection of games to play when you get a Wii U *saysthisbuthasminedisconnectedinsteadformyplaystation2*

Maybe get a Wii U, go find a flea market. Find yourself a cheap Wii for like, 50-80$ (That still works)

Get a Wii U. All Wii games are backwards compatible on it and you'll still have use for your accessories as many Wii U games make use of them anyway. The only major loss you'll have is you won't be able to play GC games.

Also moved to Video Gaming.

Yeah, I think I might get a Wii U at this point.

Get a Wii U.

However, how did your Wii die exactly?

I'm not exactly sure? It just wouldn't turn on or do anything and I had my dad check it out and he said it died. I assume that it was just old.

Check the button cell battery that should be in a slot held by a cover and a screw around the back or bottom of the console. Chances are the battery died, or your power brick died.

Can't a Wii U play Wii games anyway?

I'm wanting a Wii U myself!

I thought my Wii died once because it was plugged in and wouldn't turn on, but this the steps in this video helped me fix it:

I'm not sure if your Wii is having the same problem as the one mine had, though, so this may not work.

wow, this actually fixed my wii! thank you! :0

I'd still recommend investing in a Wii U, trust me, you won't regret it!
