I'm in love currently, been in love for a lone time now, and I can confirm that in situations it is not as easy as just telling someone. There are a lot of risks and there can be a lot to lose. I know how it feels not telling someone and not having them know and it hurts immensely but it's just not easy sometimes.

Also you do know that there's a quote button to make this much easier.

Back on topic, depending on your situation you might want to tell him/her, if they aren't a good friend but an acquaintance it's usually easier to ask them out, asking out good friends is tough because of the chances you could lose them altogether. But if you think that it could work out you should go for it. I should've gone for it multiple times and soon it will be too late for me, so you shouldn't wait like I did.

Honestly, at your age, these things will fade. The guy you were obsessed with when you were 12 you won't even be able to remember the last name of by the time you're 18.

Then, after not seeing him for 5 years, he'll end up at the same University as you despite it being 8 hours drive away and the size of a small high school, and you'll realise you have no idea why you even liked him in the first place, and he was never even that attractive.

And you end up trying to avoid him like the plague because he really only reminds you of how embarrassing you were when you were 12.

The best advice is to just not worry about it. Grades last longer than boys do anyway.

What you believe to be love is most likely attraction or admiration, but not love as love is very specific in way of feeling and usually you don't just fall in love with someone (Coming from the guy who fell in love with someone at first sight lmao)
