This game is pretty fun. It's actually kind of like Skylanders as far as gameplay goes.

Ugh, those rarer pokemon are so hard to get. So annoying. Landing on the stages you want is hard enough, but even if you do you probably won't get the Pokemon you want. And when it comes to stages I have everything captured on them, I don't even bother with it. ...Unless that stage has Quilladin. Quilladin is ****ing adorable!

Also, I noticed a typo in the game. I saw two Pokemon side by side, one of which had the move "Feint" and the other had "Feint Attack." ...Uhh, don't you mean "Faint Attack?"

I think Feint Attack is a Pokémon move. IDK about Feint though, maybe that's exclusive to Rumble World.

Actually, Feint is a move that allows you to attack targets who use Protect/Detect that turn. I'm pretty sure the move is Faint Attack and not Feint Attack.

Ugh, just now I got to use the Dew Balloon and there were two 2-Star stages, one with Greninja and the other with Empoleon and I tried my hardest to land on either of those two, but no! I get the stage with ****ING FLAFFY! UGH! WHY DID THEY HAVE TO MAKE THOSE POKEMON SO HARD TO GET!!! Normally I could care less about those two pieces of crap, but I'm treating this as a collection game.

The spelling was changed from "faint" to "feint" in X and Y I believe.

I found an easier way to get those boss Pokemon. Don't attack them right away, instead let them attack several times. Eventually they will get tired, which gives you the chance to strike. Make sure to use something that isn't too strong, something that can kill in 12 hits or more I'll say. If you attack him when it's tired, it may get wobbly. Kill it as fast as you can to obtain the creature. ...However sometimes it will just get angry, so you may have to start the process over. It's recommended to have a Pokemon that has weaker attacks and strong attacks to avoid killing it before it wobbles.

Anyone know a good strategy for Chestnaut? I mentioned the trick before, but it doesn't seem like it's actually possible to set Chestnaut in a wobbly state, because instead of getting tired, he uses Spiky Shield which protects him from damage.

For the first area, there's mostly grass Pokemon, so something strong against that would work. Second area is Water Pokemon. I forget what inhabits the 3rd area, but the fourth area is mostly inhabited by food related Pokemon, mostly ice types, but the boss is Slurpuff so if you have a Pokemon with both Poison and Fighting type moves, you might do just fine.

Edit: I was wrong, you actually CAN set him in a wobble state. It requires attacking him when he has his shield up though. Either use a monster with healing abilities and just live with the damage you take, or fight from afar after he uses Spikey Shield.

That's how it appears to be done. I haven't gotten him into a wobbly phase yet, but I'm working on it.

The easiest way to get diamonds without buying them is to get visitors. You can get 3 of them twice a day: First 3 are free, but you have to get 10 play coins to get the second visit. You can only get 10 play coins a day, so the maximum amount of visits a day is 2. When you get a visitor, you can rescue them from different areas, and they sometimes give you a diamond.

Another way to get diamonds is to complete the King's requests and complete all the challenges for that request.

IMO, the first method is easiest if you don't play much, but the second is easiest if you play more often.

You CAN get more coins a day by switching the date on your 3DS, of course, you might have to wait a day or two before the time in Pokemon Rumble goes back to normal. Like if you kept switching your time on Monday, it may not restore till Wednesday.

You can get more than 2 jewels a day, however. You can get up to five by having people visit. ...But no more than five. After you have gotten five gems that day using that method, you get coins instead for every five Miis that visit. Miis also often give you gems during levels, so be on the lookout.

This game just freezed on me and caused me to have a mini panic attack, thinking my 3DS was broken.

The sound just cut off and I kept playing for a few seconds then both screens went dead. Although the blue light at the bottom of the console was still on. (This was on my n3DS by the way). Even pressing the power button wouldn't turn it off so I closed my 3DS in a quick panic then opened it again. That was when it finally turned off.

This actually happened to me 3 times and now I've deleted the game. It might not actually break my 3DS but I still don't want to risk it. Although the game did seem fun so it was kinda unfortunate that it freezed like that. And these freezes would be totally random. I was playing different types of pokemon in different types of areas. Such a shame smilie(

That never happened to me yet. It did happen a few weeks ago when I tried to play Smash Brothers though, but it hasn't done that since. I can probably assume it's nothing to worry about.

I think it's better to save up for later balloons instead of going for cheaper. I got the Dewdrop Bay, Sapphire, Ruby, Gold, and Pearl ones (I think in that order). Just got Groudon, pretty dang awesome character. Currently Level 21.

ALSO, CODES FOR EVENTS:
Klefki — 92955036

Doublade — 27418406

Pancham — 18294319

Smeargle — 18014401

Granted, they're only around 220-250 power, but they're rarer so they'll probably help level you up by being new species.

It seems like as you capture more characters and/or rank up that increases the stars in a Balloon.

I wonder how strong I have to be for Groudon/Kyogre to be more common.

I have Latias and Lugia, but none of the other legendaries yet.

I found the easiest way to make gems is to get people on the internet. You can buy 3 people for 10 3DS coins each, and every five that come visit give you gems. You can only get five gems a day this way. To make coins, walk with your 3DS in your pocket till you get 10 coins, then move the date on your 3DS to get more coins, move the date backward, get more coins, rinse and repeat. However, if you want to make gems as fast as possible, once you have changed the time, do NOT play Pokemon Rumble World for the rest of the day. It will tell you the clock has been reset, and you will have to wait till the day after to get more gems. Without playing the game after you set the time, the game should run normally the next day, and you can continue to get more gems. ...You can also get gems from the Miis you visit when playing a stage, but again I think only five a day. I hope this helps people make gems without spending a dime.

I don't like how the game forces you to gamble on which stage you select instead of just simply choosing the level you want. You'd wind up wasting your time going to the same level you went before.

Oh yeah, one more thing I should mention with my trick.

Before changing the time after playing PRW, be sure to save and close the game before doing so. If you press home and go straight to the options while it's still playing, the game will still make you wait the day after before you can get gems again.

Another thing I found out: The more days you set ahead on your 3DS, the longer it will take for the game to restore to normal. Perhaps try moving the 3DS clock backwards instead of forwards?

The game may be free to download, but whether you like it or not, it is still designed to make money. Nintendo did that on purpose pretty much to encourage its players to spend money on convenience. Yes, it's true that you can get gems without paying for them, but it is a very long and grueling process. But if you're patient enough, you can stick through it. smilie
