I honestly think that it's stupid. With the whole teaching boys not to rape what about women who rape? Men aren't the only ones who can rape yet women also rape but don't get noticed. Is it because it doesn't happen as often or is because the public views women as innocent bystanders that can't do anything bad? Rape is still just as bad for men and women. Another thing about this saying that I hate is that teaching kids won't do much. You see all of these "Don't do drugs" campaigns at schools yet children still do them. Same thing towards many other subjects such as "Don't text and drive" and "Don't drink and drive" which did barley anything to a subject that many people knew what to do. This is essentially telling a driving school class not to run over people. You already knew this but people are still gonna do this. Can we please discuss this?

Horrible and borderlining sexist. Even ignoring how women are just as capable of rape as men are, it's pretty ****ed up that they're implying that boys have to be taught not to rape. Tell them that it's bad and you should always have consent yes, but this almost sounds like a big movement to educate men.

Instead of bluntly telling people "Don't rape, Don't do drugs, Don't drink/text and drive", why don't you say why you shouldn't do it. Explain the moral and logical reasoning behind those statements, why shouldn't I do drugs? That itself is more helpful to someone than a dozen PSA commercials repeating a catchphrase over and over again.

I do have a sort of constant fear of being accused of raping someone, even though I haven't and wouldn't.

And it really annoys me when people say that 'They should wear what they want and shouldn't be treated like sex objects!!!"
I mean come on, that argument is stupid because you don't see men walking around in revealing clothing. And if they would to do it some day, I'm sure girls would stare, so it works both ways. All the boys I've seen so far wear a simple shirt/jacket and pants and I've been on this earth for 18 years. No one has told girls to wear what they do now, and they're choosing to sexualize themselves. And it annoys me. If you're wearing shorts so short that you can see your ass, don't complain if boys stare. If boys wore those types of shorts, you would stare.

As for the whole drugs thing, my mum suggested that the schools should actually bring in people who have taken drugs before and are visually effected by it, so that kids will full on know and understand exactly what would happen to them if they take it. Simply showing them documentaries like what they did to me is not doing anything. It's clearly obvious that what they're doing at the moment is not working considering that there is apparently Ice going around in high schools and universities at the moment where I live and is currently 'the big thing'.

Thank you for being someone who realizes this without just screaming "Victim blaming!". This is in no way victim blaming, but stating that you cannot purposely sexualize yourself and then act as if you did not know that it would cause people to view you in a more sexual manner, because that was the point of sexualizing yourself.

I agree with this too. Like why is it that people seem to think being racist towards white people isn't racist? What makes white people so special? They're human beings too and can get hurt by racist words.
