If my prom date and I are going to the same college after graduation, would it be bandwagoning to wear the university's colors to prom? (she wearing a red dress and I wear a black tux and red tie)


We've already picked out our stuff (it's not those colors), so it's too late, but she still insists it would be a horrible act of bandwagonry. I must have your support in putting this to rest

It kind of is bandwagonny. A lot of people I know do that. Just wear what you want to prom, match your date, but don't do something stupid like match a University's colors. That's really kind of bragging.

And I guess it wouldn't help that she has a UGA wallet........And I have my car key on a UGA lanyard......

Like I said, we already picked out our clothes. I know what I'm going to wear.

Well, it would be a novel thing at my school, since a minority of kids go to four year universities. Most of them go to community colleges/technical schools.

Needless to say, the kids who DO go to universities are often social outcasts like myself and my date (who is our valedictorian btw)
