Disney ruins everything because the channel and the company are separated!

Disney is in charge of Marvel's Daredevil available only on Netflix?

Why is that a spoiler? I haven't watched yet. I don't know gets it bashed in, and I already assumed immensely that Kingpin would be the main villain.

Disney owns ABC Studios who owns the rights to Marvel shows and had primary creative control on the Daredevil series. Quote: Lunarz
I didn't even say who it was, so it's really not. You knew he was gonna be a pretty evil villain too, he wasn't gonna be someone like Loki or Whiplash. Kingpin doesn't want to tear down a superhero, he already owns most of Hell's Kitchen. He'll do anything to keep it that way, even brutal murder. |

I was mostly joking, this is sort a spoiler though: I found it interesting how even though you know he's the main bad guy, they sort of get you to root for him at the end of his date with art saleslady. Like "GIVE HIM ANOTHER CHANCE!" They do a pretty good job of making him out to be sort of a normal person. You get the impression that he doesn't want to keep his name hidden in order to inspire fear in the type of people he works with/against, as suggested by one of the Russian brothers, he keeps his name away from them as much as possible so that he can have a separation between his work and his personal life. Of course that leads into it's own sort of sinister suggestions, in that he's so rich an powerful he has that ability to run illegal operations and remain completely separated from it.
