Krypt King seems to be the Trap Team generation's Magna Charge. Both had a Nitro variant and are currently near impossible to find in stores. I just checked all the major store websites and Krypt King is pretty much out of stock everywhere. According to GameStop.com, the nearest one is the next state over from me. None near me according to BestBuy.com. Do you guys still see Krypt King around? Or his Nitro variant?

My Target must have got a shipment in last week, they had over 6 Nitro's...

EBay and online availability seems to indicate Krypt King (both kinds) are getting very scarce. I stopped by both my local Target stores last week during the 25% off sale...tons of Nitro Head Rush and water traps with a light spattering of other figures, but no Nitro Krypt King. Best Buy seems to have the best selection of Trap Team figures in my area after TRU.

hummm... come to think of it i havent seen many krypt kings in stores myself. I already got mine so i never really bothered to look but yea, nothing but bushwacks, gearshifts, tuff lucks and a hand full of others. and more water traps than anyone knows what to do with. GG on that one activision.

Yes i see both Nitro and Normal . Heck they are now selling wave 1,s including normal Krypt King at 25 percent discount . Probably doomed to be shelf warmer in my local <just like ol Magna > . I am thinking of buying a Nitro as there are about 6 in this whole town .

Never seen any Tuff Luck,s or Gear Shifts ever .

Krypt King hasn't been seen in my area, central Illinois, since just after Christmas. He disappeared in December and made a small resurgence in January. Haven't seen him since. The Nitro version has been away even longer.

Wildfire is also hard to find. Pretty much most of the wave 1 figures are getting scarce as they aren't releasing anymore. It all depends on if Activision decides to put them in another assortment later. I'm really bummed that I had passed up on Wildfire. I wasn't buying any until Christmas deals, and I couldn't find him on Black Friday. I saw him hanging around places after that, but held off, because we had already spent enough for Christmas. By the time Christmas came, my son really wanted Ka-Boom for his fire Trap Master, so we got him instead. Now I hardly see a Wildfire in the wild. I did see one at a Bargain Hunt (I've mentioned them before, if you haven't heard of them) for $9. I picked it up, excited to see it, but the face had fallen off (I took a picture for the fun of it...maybe I should post it). I put it back because I didn't want a broken one. I later found out that they will mark down product that is damaged or broken. I went back to the store to see how much they would mark it down to (figuring I could easily super glue it back together), but it was already gone.

You might want to check out Bestbuy.com - Wildfire is in stock. Also, the store locator on GameStop.com shows stock of him at quite a few stores.

Skylanders have been easier to find as the years go on, but if you wait too long they eventually disappear. I actually want a new Blizzard Chill (mine has one of the helmet wings missing), but haven't been able to track one down yet (not really willing to pay full price plus shipping for her). And she was never considered rare.

If you really like a character, waiting is always a risk. The rare ones have never been predictable.

I have faith Krypt King will come back, but there's always a "series 2 bash" in every release.

If you're willing to pay full price and shipping, Blizzard Chill is available new at gohastings.com...won't have to pay tax unless your state has a physical location of the store.

yea i was about to say, wallop is on my short list but i dont seem to find him anywhere. But im happy i got wildfire when i did, hes for sure one of my favorites.

I thought Wallop saw a one per box restock with Wave 3...that's when I got mine. He had disappeared right before Christmas, but saw a small resurgence.

I see the nitros, but not regular KK in awhile!

That is true, but since wave 3 got a limited release because of the dock worker's strike, that wave was short lived. I would like to think, though, that if the dock worker's strike delayed shipments of wave 3, then they're still out there, somewhere, but more priority has been given to getting wave 4 released. I keep wondering if they'll start shipping out wave 3 assortments one day.

So you are saying I should go to target tomorrow and buy a few Nitro Krypt Kings and Nitro Magna Charge? They don't have any separate Magna Charges but they've had plenty two packs of him. I don't have a hard time finding Krypt Kings. I already have a Nitro Krypt King but I plan on buying a regular Krypt King maybe when I might be able to pick him up at 5 Below or something.
I thought Nitro Magna Charge looked much worse then his normal version but he just never was one of my favorite skylanders. Krypt King looks good in both ways and he's one of my favorite skylanders. I think Head Rush looked great in her Nitro form but I REALLY wish Gear Shift got Nitro or a Legendary version she would have looked great with either.

You actually see Nitro Krypt King? And especially Nitro Magna Charge (to which I really don't believe)? I haven't seen Nitro Krypt King since release, and the same goes for Nitro Magna Charge (wow, how long has that been?). Both went pretty quick. Nitro Freeze Blade was around for a bit, but I think Target must have sent their remaining stock off as I saw several in a Bargain Hunt store.

Please post what city or state you're in so we have a general idea what parts of the country have stock of Nitro Krypt King and Nitro Magna Charge. It's safe to say Nitro Magna Charge and Nitro Freeze Blade aren't available anymore at most Target stores in the country.

I'm from Delaware, christiana mall had them.

Exactly the same for Aus. I think I recently went into Kmart and they had a TM restock. I'm pretty sure the only one I didn't see was Krypt King. There might of been one but he was probably gonna be gone the next day.
Nitro Krypt King looked as though it was going to be here for a while in Aus, but once it sold, it sold. Done. No more boxes. Same for Nitro Head Rush but Big W "finally" got a restock, but I got mine Boxing Day

Krypt king was slowly selling where I live then One day none to be found a little flicker in december then disappeared even the nitro version is gone only head rush remains at my two local targets, one of the walmarts near me haven't got a new shipment of any type of slylanders for a few months, the toys r us is loaded with wild fires, tuff luck, jaw breaker, light and dark packs, the traps were so so. The gamestops near me never got a lot of him I want to say around November kyrpt king started coming in 1 per shipment like wallop. Another rare one in my neck of the woods by Santa Maria and San Luis obispo is kaboom It took me some months I picked up blaster mind instead at the time and seen maybe 3 kabooms then going back there was no more ended up finding him at GameStop where they only had one and was told with there shipment only 1 came in. After missing rebel lob goblin I try to get to places release day so I don't miss out and have to pay a scalper

Here in the metroplex, there are so many places to look, that one can usually find everything with enough patience and a little luck. This chain called Movie Trading Company (think Gamestop, but floorspace four times that size, and offering all forms of audio/visual entertainment) has frequently had multiples of Boomer, Ghost Roaster, Granite Crusher, and the series 2's of Bash, Zook, Prism Break, and Eruptor.

They had two Krypt Kings last week. Haven't seen him at any of the other dozen different Usual Suspect Six (Target, Wal-mart, Gamestop, Toys R Us, Best Buy, and Frys) within an hour radius.

My stores couldn't get rid of him forever... I'd say it's more that he came out in the first wave that he's hard to find now than anything else.

I should've bought him, i got the nitro, but i didn't think the original was gonna sell out soon! D:
also with wildfire, i have his dark version. Good thing i reserved him at a gamestop, and getting him on saturday.

Lol I found him in plain sight at my local Walmart two weeks ago. In fact all of the Wave 1 trap masters were restocked there at the time. I must have been very lucky. I bought them all which I don't normally do but in case they won't be restocked in the long run.

Just saw 2 of the regular one at a tru in massapequa, ny, was surprised to see them buried behind the rest, any nearby wants them i left them on the shelves opposite the skylander display (on the trap team boxes/skylander ship toys cases etc)
