Actually... How rare is Ike? I've heard he's "Unicorn" (one of the rarerest), but I found him at a local ARGOS (UK shop).

I'm also hoping to get the rest of the FE amiibos, which might be hard because most of the others are Unicorn/Rare.

To think all of this amiibo stuff for me started with Falco. Before I thought the idea of amiibo was stupid, but that I would just get Falco because there's rarely Star Fox merch, let alone specifically for him.
When I heard of the Smash/ORAS/Amiibo launch event at Nintendo World, I wanted to go and needed an excuse. So I decided I may as well just get Fox because Falco isn't out yet. That's when this all started.

I got into this for Falco. And now Falco is in the final wave. It's like Nintendo intentionally did this to keep me in this as long as possible.

People are saying TRU may actually do in store pre-orders on the 21st, so i'm calling my local one to see when THEY will do them. I'll report back. I'm hoping it's the 21st, since that's the last day of my break. I'm currently looking to pre-order 2 greninjas and 1 Pac.

Well true, I was just meaning out of what's known so far. There's still the question as to if Mii Fighters will get Amiibo. Amiibo of Mii was discussed as a possibility yet no word as to if it's actually going to happen.

Just pre-ordered Greninja, Jigglypuff, Dark Pit, Palutena, Ganondorf and Zero Suit Samus. A little more expensive than the usual, but it's just a fail safe in case they don't come to Ireland.

EDIT: 37.44 for robin shipped from amazon.co.jp. totally worth it, jumping on it next week after i get back from san francisco

Just so you know, Amazon.jp doesn't ship figures internationally. Not sure if Amiibo get around this by being classified as electronics, but yeah...

Found out about this ordering the Red & Cynthia Pokemon Nendoroids from them. Had to use a forwarding service.

It's not fair on them. It's not like they can import from us if they run out of stock, since most retailers here don't ship outside the US.
