I really hope Wolf gets chosen but isn't a clone.

Anyone remember Brawl in the Family? They just announced something pretty big on their website, I don't want to ruin any surprises here so just check it out yourselves!

I voted for Bayonetta. They can tone down her suggestive behavior a little. She could be a very interesting character to have in the roster.

Will also vote for Wolf, Inkling, Chrom, and Wonder Red tomorrow.

EDIT: Also if they wanted to represent the indie scene on Nintendo platforms, I would certainly like to see Shantae.

EDIT 2: Professor Layton would be nice too.

I voted for Kumatora from MOTHER 3, even though it probably won't happen. Eh, they brought back Lucas, so why not add one more character in?

I might just go with Krystal only because she's a non-human character that has a legitimate chance of being playable, but then again Ridley has a lot of demand too.

Well, Wolf was in Brawl, and a lot of people loved him then, and most still do and voting for him.
(he also had two of the best voice lines in Brawl imo, Brawl had the best voice lines)

Wolf is to Fox as Luigi is to Dr. Mario. They're not clones, but they're similar.

Wolf is not a clone, his A moves are completely unique, and his B moves are changed up enough to feel very different to Fox's.

Seriously though, why can't we have Waluigi?

I notice Bowser really took a hit too. Shame, cause I think he's a better character than people give him credit for. People complain that he's too hard to dodge with, and it is hard dodging with him, but it is NOT impossible. In the right hands, a really good Bowser player can kick butt.

...I've been trying to look for an uploaded video of a Bowser VS Zero Suit Samus fight where Bowser wins so I can get a few handy tips on how to use Bowser, but I haven't found them yet.

I know this is an odd choice, but I actually wouldn't mind seeing NPC Villagers from Animal Crossing as playables. ...Though I'd rather as Villager alts.

I'm kind of eh on Krystal. Wolf is the more prominent choice because he was already in a Smash game and people miss playing as him in the new game, as well as having a much larger role in the Star Fox series.

I've heard that that tier list is pretty bad, as are most today. I'm pretty confident that Donkey Kong isn't the worst character in the game.

I think Krystal could be an interesting edition too. But most people want Wolf because he was in Brawl and many people think there wasn't really a reason to remove him in the first place. They believe he can get even better. I'd like both of them to be in personally (if we can get 4 Fire Emblem guys we can get 4 Star Fox representatives).

I chose Bayonetta. If I really can only get one choice, then that's what I went with. I don't regret it.

1: His shadow ball moved erratically, and often times flew right over the opponent it was trying to hit. If the ball could fly a bit more straight, this might not be a problem.
2: There was no point in Confusion. If you use it on an opponent, they basically get a free shot at you since they recover from the attack before Mewtwo finishes the attack. If Mewtwo could dodge out of the attack or have the attack push opponents away, it would be better.
3: In addition, Confusion reflects projectiles, yet miraculously reflected projectiles do not harm the opponent. If they did, there'd actually be a point to that move.
4: His second jump is also very erratic, and leaves him open for a while.
5: He's supposedly a strong grappler, yet his grappling moves don't work. He has a move where he grabs the opponent, lifts them in the air and shoots shadow balls at them, but only one of the shadow balls even hits.

1. That's how Lucario's Aura Sphere worked in Brawl. It is wobbly when not charged up, but when it's fully charged, it goes straight.
2. Mewtwo is able to move before confusion ends, as seen at 0:40 in the video attached, where Mewtwo is in his idle stance (making him able to do anything) before Ganondorf snaps out of the confusion
3. Confusion is Mewtwo's down special. Mewtwo's side special reflects projectiles. At 0:50 you see Mewtwo reflect Roy's cannonball, and it deals damage
4. His second jump is just like Ness's
5. That's one throw, which imitates Fox's (and Falco's?) back throw. Just because one throw sucks doesn't mean they all do. If I recall correctly, Mewtwo's Up Throw is a good kill move.

Is it because of their counter?
If so, just use grab.

No, their AI just seems to be plain better than other characters. Them and Ganondork.

Fun fact: In Melee, Mewtwo's up grab could OHKO if the damage multiplier was set at 2.0x. As a kid, I liked doing 2.0x damage matches. XP

Normally this would be the part where I would say how unbelievably unlikely such a notion would be. But then I remember that there was material in Brawl that was set to appear in Metal Gear Solid: Guns of the Patriots... a PlayStation 3 exclusive. So, it could happen. And if Microsoft wants to revive Banjo-Kazooie, what better way to PR than with a Smash inclusion? <.>;
