Looks like i'll be able to get Pac-Man easy.

I'm waiting in line at my local GameStop right now. I'm getting those preorders whether the world wants me to or not.

Okay guys, here's the drill.

Jigglypuff was up at 7:00AM. SOLD OUT.
Wave 4 (excluding exclusives) was up at Best Buy. SOLD OUT (But we could tell the cycle of rarity. Pac man and wario sold out last. Robin and lucina lasted 2 minutes max. Charizard is somewhere inbetween.)

Amiibo aren't region-locked (as far as I know), so the earliest you can get get them is by importing them from Europe. I think the amiibos come out on 23rd June in Europe, the same day as Wooly World. There's also an amiibo + game bundle for Europe, but the game's region-locked (I think).

Pac-Man probably didn't sell out so quickly because nobody really cares about him. Nobody wants him; they want Lucina and Robin.

Are we certain there's nothing in store? It doesn't make sense to be online only and after the fiasco that was Lucario online I would rather do things in store like last time.

If you really feel inclined to do this rather than wait until the fall, try to avoid UK & Ireland stores. They have bad stock issues too and it's not fair on them to leech stock from them.

The WIS orders have BEGUN at gamestop! The servers are getting HAMMERED though.

Let this serve as a note that store exclusivity is an awful deal. I don't know why retailers like Gamestop are still trying to pay Nintendo to get them when they realize just how badly things can end.

And let's keep in mind that of the 4 retailers that got exclusive figures in Wave 3, Gamestop handled it the best.

It might be more expensive than getting the game and an amiibo, though. When I brought SSB4U (which was £35), there was a bundle with a Mario amiibo that was £60, and I could find rarer amiibos for £11. I once got a Sheik amiibo for £10, and an Ike for £11.

Servers are possible too. GameStop's site is lagging really hard right now and has crashed for a bit claiming down for maintenance.

In all fairness when I went to my Toysrus on wave 3b release day there wasn't really a line and I got Mega Man no problem.

It was also impossibly cold so that's subject to change this time around.

Just got back from GameStop, and only got Robin preordered in store after an hour's wait when I was FIRST in line. According to the manager, some GameStops are just taking down information and trying it later, which freed up the servers a bit.

Most stores are still having difficulty though.

This is not even close to what the Mewtwo and Lucas amiibo releases will be like. This is only the beginning of the... AMIIPOCALYPSE...

The only 2 amiibo you can still WIS at gamestop are Pac-Man and Wario. All i'm concerned about now is Greninja and Pac-Man. i'll try to get those 2 from TRU.com tomorrow and either do a Pre-order for Wario @ gamestop or....buy a skylander.

Got everythong except Robin, Lucina, and.... Wario. Waaaaaaa.. :c

Gamestop is doing in store preorders and if you run down you might be able to nab one or two.
Toysrus is doing online preorders tomorrow.

I don't live in an area where there are a lot of scalpers, or people who buy amiibo for that matter, so I hope I can preorder w/o it being sold out. Then again, I'm told Charizard was going to be a common.
